they are just angry their territory is being taken over.

The chinese mafia is taking over....
Quite possibly. But don't forget that china is not shy about sending its law enforcement personnel to abduct those who have annoyed them.

Would that be like the lawfare of hurling baseless allegations of electoral fraud that were ALL thrown out of court?

I need to fly from Bangkok (probably DMK) to the North sometime in the next 2 weeks. I'll be buying some property and the sellers (a group of farmers) are insisting that I pay them in cash. The sum is 5M baht. I don't want the hassle of trying to withdraw that amount in cash from a branch far from where I live, so the only real option is to carry the cash with me (no option for bank transfer, cashiers cheque or anything else).
Am I likely to have any issues during security carrying this amount of cash? Driving is another option, but it's a 10 hour drive which, although I've done many times, I hate doing.
Thanks.
Try one of the armored car companies, see what they will charge for you to pay into their account and they deliver. They have insurance covering up to certain amounts in each vehicle.

I'd be very happy to demonstrate ugly aggression on him, just for your education of course.

The 'owner', if Chinese, will be looking at a long term investment. When the lion is old/big enough it will be slaughtered and the bones used in Chinese traditional medicines.

You mean the solution that codified 5000 illegal entries a day? That's 1.8 million a year.
It does not codify allowing 5000 illegal entries per day, it sets an obligation to the Govt for it to shut down the border if there are 5,000 per day rolling average over a week or 8500 in one day.

And what are the facts that prove that pedophilia is caused by celibacy? Or do you just make up your own scientific theories without the benefit of facts? Just because two phenomena exist within the same time frame and place, i.e. "celibacy" and the commission of sexual abuse, does not mean they are cause and effect. That is a common example of flawed thinking and failure of logic. There are just as many pedophiles per capita out in the public sector. The catholic church is HUGE. The only major difference is that the catholic church engages in massive coverups. Out in the public more of them get caught. In the case of the church it is more scandalous and draws major headlines. Anywhere you have the air of secrecy and at the same time a large number of children exposed and vulnerable you are going to see an increase in child abuse crimes - summer camps, schools, day care. Parents leave children in what they think is a trustworthy environment. That's how the logic of statistics work. That's the way facts are properly interpreted. You know, it's never too late to go back to school to polish up on your reasoning skills. You don't want to be lagging behind the whole rest of the world. Unless you just don't mind making silly, uninformed, and baseless statements, and we all know there are plenty of those kinds of people.
Whilst I agree that the causal relationship between celibacy and child abuse is not proven, I cannot agree with your claim - 'There are just as many pedophiles per capita out in the public sector'.
Research in Australia suggests otherwise -
This research suggests that 10% of Catholic priests may be pedophiles; 20 to 200 times more than the incidence in the general population.
The question to be asked is why do so many people 'apparently' volunteer for a life of celibacy? Do they have ulterior motives to get close to the more vulnerable members of society?

...the leopards weren't delighted, though! the tourists were safe in a car, i guess, cos we know that as far as the leopards are concerned, tourist or not, human flesh is good to eat
The worst cases of man-eating leopards were in India where bodies were dumped in the jungle during an epidemic rather than buried. One in Panar was credited with over 400 kills and one in Rudrapayag got over 125. Colonel Jim Corbett managed to eventually kill both of them at the cost of lots of grey hair and wrinkles. Both seem to have got used to the taste after feasting on decomposing epidemic victims rather than due to age or infirmity. Generally, they will stay well clear of humans but seem to be quite keen on dogs and other small animals. Human flesh seems to be an 'acquired' taste but once tried they become quite addicted to it.
Beautiful creatures. One walked past my side of the car in Kruger National Park; the window motor, unlike my heart rate, seemed very slow that day!

Thailand house of representatives approves same-sex marriage bill

To the best of my understanding a foreign woman married to a Thai man has significantly less hoops to jump through when applying for extension of stay based on marriage than does a foreign man married to a Thai woman? Does this now mean that I should marry my brother in law instead?
