ATK test. Is that the one they sell on 7-eleven for 49 THB? Meaning I can do it myself? Or does it require a medical professional to do the test and write a report?

Hello, I'm GoGet, a very nice and polite guy. Not retired, not married, no intention to get married. How is the visa situation overall now? Background: I have been here for a very long time. I used to do border runs before. Then there was some issue about people catching a cold or something like that so the borders kind of seemed to freeze for a while. During that period, it was possible to get long term visas, which I did. Paid a bit extra, got 15 months volunteer visa. It's about to expire. How is the situation now? Is it still possible to get those long-term visas anywhere? Or is everyone back to doing border runs just like in the old days? Any advice? GoGet

Hi there, GoGet here. I want to go to Bangkok and order a new passport because my old one is full and then I want to get out again. At the moment I stay in Phetchabun. I was wondering if it is possible to take the bus to Bangkok now without quarantining for 14 days? The bus recently started operating again. But how does it work? You can get on the bus but if you get off the bus at the bus station in Bangkok there are some guys in white overalls waiting for you there to test you and quarantine you? Or is the passage clear? Alternatively, can I take the bus to Wang Noi and then take a taxi the last 30 km to Bangkok?
