  1. Agree that the 90 should be scrapped all together. But I think the issue is what do you do with all the manpower that manages this system.
  2. Well played Chinese police. Why should the Thai police be the only ones being bribed by Chinese criminal. You certainly deserve a slice of teh corruption pie
  3. It is no ones business to whom he bows or does not bow. If Paetongtarn was a male no one would care.
  4. The new PM is lacking in his understanding of world affairs. But that's typical of naive Thai politicians. Shortsighted with no moral compass
  5. Agree 100%. Remember ISIS ?, Turkey is the real extreme Islamic State. Erdogan wants to jail/torture/kill people who have legitimate complaints against Turkey and have opposing views. Plus, he wants to scam the US for additional aid and weapons etc.. Yes, time to change NATO’s procedures to allow new members
  6. You must be joking ! What has Russia offered other than an invasion of sovereign country, nuclear threats. Macron must have one too many
  7. Correct. The last smallpox vaccine administered was in 1976, I believe. The vaccine stocks currently held in government labs are some 40 years old and their efficacy is not know. As such there is a risk of serious health issues when injected with the old vaccines. I suppose that new vaccines can be produced, but all that seems to be a knee-jerk reaction. In Thailand of course it is another opportunity for corrupt politicians to make a buck on trading on a needless vaccine
  8. Many countries charge some sort of fee/tax etc..of tourists. Most often it is hidden in the ticket price. It would nice (transparent; who Am I kidding) if the vaunted Thai authorities listed these benefits, so we"re all on the same page so to speak.
  9. What schizophrenic approach to dealing with this issue. They change things every few hours. What a mess
  10. Totally logical, but logic logic does not count in this case, as it does not benefit the scammers in Thailand. The cost of a test before arrival will go to a foreign clinic, hospital etc.. and that does not benefit Thailand. Every procedure is designed to fleece the tourist and have them spend money in Thailand. Logic be damned
  11. not to mention their worthless ruble which is likely to loose much to its value in the near future
  12. They still have a few scams up their sleeve. The next few months will be spent on polishing these, and then we will be told that this is the "new normal"
  13. The letter and the advice wishin makes too much sense, which means it will be ignored
