Fully agree to this procedure. Did it myself 1 minute ago and it works fine.
You don't really need the Mor Prom app. Just scan the QR code on your certificate from the hospital and you will be taken directly to the website that shows you the green certificate. Make a screenshot, crop it a bit and you're done. You get precisely the same thing as on the app.- 1

The spokesman at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Thanee Saengrat told Daily News yesterday that between August 1st and 25th 54,745 foreign residents of Thailand had applied for vaccinations against Covid-19 on expatvac.consular.go.th.
These 54,745 do not include those several thousands that were rejected because the system could not take 2 uploads of passport pages as instructed. Invalid in all respects

Who was it that ended a letter to a friend: "sorry I didn't have the time to make it brief?"

Why not include 'yellow book only' as this book include the 13 ID digits?

I like people who can make it brief. Bill Gross is such one and says: "You need something to look forward to, something to do and someone to love". The ability to do so comes from your own qualities and from the opportunities in your surroundings. I don't think for me other countries would make a big difference. We are different. Others may be more 'sensitive' to surrounding country?

Thank you. But quite expensive. Probably also why True vision skips it
Bloomberg Digital
Monthly Digital:$34.99$1.99/month*Annual Digital:$34.60$24.20/month** -
Does someone know why True Vision cancels Bloomberg TV November 2020?
Are there any alternative ways to get access to Bloomberg TV? -
and VOA is ?

Your words may have some interesting things in it. I don't know and it is too long for me to bother. Remember Mark Twins words: “I apologize for such a long letter - I didn't have time to write a short one.” Could you write the same on ½ page structured wirh premises and conclusions?

One respondent wrote: 'At 71 no one should even think of moving to Thailand.'
I am now 74 and has been living in Thailand for 12 years.
Don't listen to such an unconditioned statement. If you feel like it and you can take care of yourself then come.If you have blue eyes then remember the sun glasses and wear them (If in doubt why then ask the eye doctor)

Thanks but this does not answer my question . My friend obtained his first type 0 based on retirement in Bangkok last year. Is he eligible to get a re-entry permit before expiration date which would give him a second year without applying for extension of stay ?
You friend is now in possession of a Non-Immigrant O visa which has not yet expired. On i it says number of entries. If it is 'M' this means multiple within expiration date.
With this in hand he can not apply for re-entry permit as he already has this permit.
If your friend is here on his 2nd year after Non-Immigrant O visa with en extension of permission to stay for RETIREMENT (which is not a visa) he can apply for re-entry permit but the given permit will expire the same date as the permission to stay.
So a re-entry permit can not 'give a second year'

Get an Extension of Stay based on retirement, assuming you meet the financial requirements.

That was the case 1-2 days ago. Today a lot points towards that that group also will be included. A lot of misunderstanding concerning concepts:
- It is common to call the extension of permission to stay for a renewal of the Non-Immigrant O-A or O VISA. The extension is not a visa.
- renew and re-apply
I don't mind getting a reasonable insurance. Just show me a company that will take me with a suitable offer (fitting the immigration requirements).

Not to mention if he has a family here, there are plenty of visa or Extension options that do not have compulsory insurance requirements.

I am very interested. Could you please be specific and mention by name which ones applicable for foreign retired males above fifty which are living permanently in Chiang Mai?

If you have the 800k in your Thai account and only need more time for seasoning, do one of the following:
1. Check to see if an agent can get the extension for you. (Immigration would conveniently overlook the seasoning issue.)
2. Do a simple in/out border run and come back to Thailand with a 30 day visa-exempt stamp. (You can extend for 30 more days if needed.) You would then need to get a new Non-O visa from your Immigration Office, which is not a problem at some offices but a problem at other offices.
3. If you want to get a 60 day Tourist Visa, do not go to Cambodia -- they are very difficult to deal with. An appointment is needed to enter the Thai Consulate in Vientiane and may require scheduling as much as three weeks in advance. No appointment needed at Savannakhet, but printed proof of 20k baht in a bank account is required, so bring an updated bank statement and updated bank book.
4. A Non-O visa can be obtained in Savannakhet with proof of retirement and proof of financials. A few weeks before the Non-O expires, go to Immigration and request a 1 year extension based on retirement.
5. Get a visa from Australia, which I assume is your home country.
Is this really true? That thai immigration issues Non-Immigrant O-A visas? Thought it was not possible as have to be issued by a thai embassy?
'You would then need to get a new Non-O visa from your Immigration Office, which is not a problem at some offices but a problem at other offices.'

So I would like to know why is the discussion that the new insurance doesn't relate to us?
as I understand it:
1) a Non-Immigrant visa O-A can be issued to foreigners in a foreign country at a thai embassy in that country.
2) And only outside Thailand.
3) Per definition it cannot be renewed.
4) And especially not in Thailand at an immigration office (as it per definition is issued at an embassy outside Thailand)
5) That is why the article suggests the term re-applying instead. Which is the case if you go back to your country and apply for a new one.
6) At immigration we get a stamp saying 'RETIREMENT extension of stay permitted...' (You could call it a local invention to substitute a visa)
7) Extensions of stay are not visas (quote from article)
'8) The new requirements for health insurance concerns only people applying or reapplying for a Non-Immigrant O-A visa
9) So as we do not re-apply for a Non-Immigrant O-A visa each year but for an extension of permission to stay the new requirements do not apply to us
10) For now the rules - let's see tomorrow ????

The visa in your passport shows it is either an O visa or an O-A visa
Sorry, these confusing terms.
The stamp I have is - as I now understand it - not a visa.
It is a stamp (not a label) saying 'RETIREMENT..extension of permission to stay'. Issued by the local immigration.
My first and only 'visa' years ago was the Non-Immigrant O-A visa. Issued by a thai embassy outside Thailand.
So I am here based on an extension of a permission to stay and not based on an extension of a Non-Immigrant O-A visa.
As also indicated in the article the term 'renewal of a Non-Immigrant O-A visa' doesn't make much sense as this is not possible.
The term 're-applying' seems to be suggested instead.
Such a 're-applying' takes place only at a thai embassy (and not at a local immigration office in Thailand)

I have been here 12 years and this is the first time I realise (have been explained) that a "Retirement" visa (which I have) is not the same as an extension of a "Non-immigrant O-A" visa.
Let us see how long time this distinction will be upheld

It is a good idea to make a pre-test af your questionnaire. Most likely the allowed answer don't cover peoples true main motives. ...And try to make the answers 'neutral'
