Start by getting "O" visa. That'll give you a year breathing space.
If you find work you'll need to change the "O" visa to a "WP".
Shouldn't have a problem finding a partner of either gender, any age, just watchout for your credit cards, bank cards, and of course your cash. And Jet-Ski renting.
Should be plain-sailing.

Every passenger he's taken has been scammed and robbed.
This is a very very serious offence. Very serious.
How many tourists has he scammed?
20 50 100 passengers a week. 20 50 100 passengers a week he steals from.
And the fine is a meaningless trivial amount.
Was the meter removed from his taxi ? or was he asked to remove it at his leisure ?
Lets' hope this video goes viral.
Truly a despicable offence.

Were these workers squashed into the back of an open pick-up ?
Any sharp movement from the pick-up would send these workers flying in all directions.

And the Russian will be spreading the word her bag was snatched and the thief was caught by the Police. Now that is reassuring to other Russians contemplating coming to Pattaya. If you're a victim of crime, don't worry, they will be caught in break-neck speed.
Another story that beggars belief, let alone 90% of the report missing.

Think you'll find this money-exchange company very competitive and will do a deal depending on size of transaction.

Best bet though is to find a foreigner who wants Baht. Split the difference. You both benefit.

Didn't take too long for an attempted "short-change" of a customer.
Returned to Thailand Wednesday morning. Escaped Songkran.
Driving back to Pattaya stopped at the service area for a quick burger.
Paid my money. Gave a 1000 Baht note. Cost was 340 Baht. Expected 660 Baht change.
Handed back to me was a wad piled together. As I took the wad I fanned out the wad to check the amount. As soon as the wad was fanned, (which unknown to me at that point was 100 Baht short) the cashier added 100 Baht from nowhere.
Just a respectful reminder "Check your change" !!
