Needs to follow another car within 100 meters going at less than 40mph. Doesnt work off the highway. Cant take curves on the highway unless they are very gentle curves. Doesnt work in bright sunshine. Only works in geofenced areas. Several more limitations. FSDbeta can drive on any road at any speed, auto lane change, handle on and off ramps.... albeit with a very vigilent driver just in case. Mercedes tech is not remotely close. Elon has built a rocket company in 20 years that is 10 years ahead of any other. I suspect he understands the need or lack thereof for Lidar. According to Elon AI is coming and will handle "real" FSD. I dont know but wouldnt bet against Elon.

You're out of date. Have you seen the Teslas from Shanghai? Build quality is very high. Functionality??? Way higher than any gas car. You are showing Elon-hate or you just dont have a clue. You would be insane to buy one of those cars over a Tesla. Range and acceleration, s/w over the air, the 4 Tesla models are rated as the 4 safest cars on the road. Those cars you mention are not even close to Tesla. Tesla has built out a charging network in every country they enter, Thailand will be no different. They'll have superchargers on the Asian highway and south to Huahin.

Demand seems still high in Thailand at current prices but yeah, expect price decreases when the order rate slows down.

Actually. This is a nothing burger for EV owners. Gas cars catch fire 50 times more frequently per same number of cars. Especially Tesla has this figured out. They've sold over 3 million cars and you almost never hear of a Tesla battery fire.

Nothing against the Camry. I had one for 7 years. They look good, are comfortable, reliable. I'm just saying there will be a lot of buyers for Model 3 at that price. Saying Teslas arent anything special is dumb. Depends on the buyer's desires. I've driven a 2018 Model 3 and a 2021 Model S Plaid. Even the M3 was special. The instant acceleration from zero to 60kph is something you would use constantly. The handling compared to a Camry is incomparable, the infotainment experience, Spotify, presetting temperature so you get into a cool or warm car as you like....the tech is way ahead of the Camry.

The batteries last a very long time. Generally 300,000-500,000km. Today about $20K to replace full battery. Sorry, slight miscommunication there. 2 sentances not one. I have driven my buddy's MS Plaid but not with special tires and the rolling start required to hit the 1.9 second mark. I did have the car stopped on a 4 lane divided road with 2 miles in front of me with no cars in sight. Depressed the brake, followed by depressing the accelerator. Then released the brake and off like a rocket. No idea what the actual 0-60 time was. Maybe 2.1 seconds? Maybe 2.3??? Regardless, at the time - 8 months ago - it was the fastest car in the world 0-60. Since been surpassed by a couple of other BEVs. The G's were so strong, I felt a wave of nausea. These cars are fricken unreal. I drove a 2018 model 3 also. Didn't compare to the Plaid but way faster than any other car I have driven in my life. Handling is incredible too. Model 3 slimilar price to a Camry, they'll sell boatloads in Thailand.

Actually I'm really healthy, 6ft 170lbs, no fat. Been eating keto for close to 10 years. Drink in moderation, no smoking other than very small amount of weed. Wife is 20 years younger and she works out 6 days a week. Does Muay Thai and body building. Married 20 years and she's still super sexy, we have 3 kids, who are awesome Sex wise, no problem but not so often. Im retired and wife doesnt work, financially comfortable. I work out but not near the level I should be doing But I am demotivated. I shouldnt be but I am.

Better than CR and other mag's reports, which generally have an agenda. Look at customer satisfaction ratings. Tesla consistently has highest customer ratings.

Tesla has upped their quality and reliability. They are as good as anybody now. Chinese cars are still poor quality today.
