  1. Please explain how to do a screenshot and then post on this site.
  2. e.g. Search for any given movie, then select "cast"
  3. I have a Samsung A03 Android phone. When exploring the cast members of any given movie, I can see pictures of the players, under which are their character and real actor's names. Unfortunately, the names are cut almost in half horizontally, resulting in my being unable to see the full name of the actor. Thanks in advance.
  4. I've just been reading this thread and cannot find any mention of the need for a printer. Do I need access to one in order to attach the TM47 to my passport, like immigration officers do? Thanks, David.
  5. Please can anyone tell me of an easy (quick) way to recognise a Thai highway where the riding of a 125cc m/c is prohibited. Also, how is such a highway designated on Google maps? Thank you, David.
  6. Ojas, calm down. One of the main benefits of using an agent is that there is no need for money in the bank --- they deal with that. I don't have enough pension (currently) for the THB 65,000 per month requirement and I'm not sure how I would show any pension-sourced transfers anyway. I do receive about THB 50,000 per month in pension payments but I do NOT want that money paid directly into a foreign bank a/c for obvious reasons.
  7. Thank you to all respondents. I think I'm going to go with wise. I didn't realise just how good their rates were for transferring large amounts. They are currently quoting just £114.07p to transfer £20,000 @ .57%.
  8. Hi folks, I have not as yet renewed my extension of stay (based on retirement) other than via an agent. I am considering trying the DIY route next time and I ask the following question: If I wish to transfer the funds from my UK Lloyds bank a/c to my Thai Bangkok Bank a/c, what would be the most cost-effective method? I believe that Lloyds only charges £9.50, but I have no control over the potential levy which intermediary banks may impose. Also, there would be no guarantee of the exchange rate. I have long used Wise (formerly TransferWise) to transfer funds for day-to-day living expenses, but I think that the fees for transferring a large amount of cash may be punitive. Thanks, in advance. David.
  9. Hi Folks, I am staying in View Talay 1 condos, near Foodmart. Is anyone able to recommend a laundry shop in Jomtien which charges "per kilo", rather than "per item". Thank you, in advance.
  10. No, I've tried there a couple of times. Also, I like to do the puzzles, and find it easier to do on paper, than online.
  11. Hi Folks, I'm staying in View Talay 1 Condos, Jomtien and I like to get the Bangkok Post occasionally, but not every day, only on an ad-hoc basis so I'm not prepared to pre-order. I'm aware that Food Mart sells it, and am also aware of 2 new-stands which sell it in Soi Buakhao, Pattaya --- 1 opposite Cheap Charlies, and 1 opposite the Corner Bar. Does anyone know of any other vendors, preferably here in Jomtien, or maybe in Pratamnak? Thanks in advance. David.
