  1. I'm doing a border run tomorrow to get the 45 days. My extension finishes on 1st April. According to one of the biggest visa agents in Pattaya that I booked with yesterday he seemed to think it will not be extended. If it is, he said on the 1st it will probably be announced, so I'm doing the bounce just incase it is not.
  2. Closed indefinitely, I had a life time membership. I don't see Tony's coming back as he's trying to off load most of his premises, I believe.
  3. I trained at SUN fitness for about 5 months daily earlier this year. Good gym, air con is ok. Good equipment, they also have a gym in naklua you can use. It was not to busy but now it's high(ish) season so I imagine it is busier. As mentioned 900 baht a month. When I go back in January I will be training at the new Elite gym on Sukhumvit road next to McDonald's. Same owners as Elite gym in samui. Good Aircon, all new equipment. 200 baht a day, 500 weekly, 1500 monthly. I'd say at the moment it's the best gym. I've trained at Tony's, Castra, Universe, Coco's and fitness 7 over the past 12 years.
  4. I use both Bayer and Rotex. Bought both from a pharmacy in Pattaya over the past couple of months. I would say Rotex's carrier oil is very slightly thicker than Bayer. They are very close. They both use the same carrier oil (castor oil). If the oil is a little to thick for the gauge needle you are using you can warm up the ampule to help. You can still get Rotex in Pattaya. The parent company of Rotex as rebranded the name to Panpharma in August 2019. I believe this means in Thailand they have to get Thai FDA approved again before they can import hence the current shortage.
  5. Absolutely agree, great area and I've stayed in Pattaya (north, south, central), jomtien, wongamat and the dark side previously. I'm renting one of those 1 bedrooms for 7k. Partial sea view. Great deal and I hardly see anyone at my pool or around the condo reception area, lift, carpark, etc. So nice and quiet and peaceful.
  6. I'm only in Pattaya 99% of the time, so don't know about BKK. If you can purchase the product I'm sure any clinic will give you the shot for a few hundred baht without doing tests. I know a few people that have done that around Pattaya.
  7. Just been into Tim's. They have 1 box on the shelf. 8500b. As far as I know, Nebido only comes in 1000mgs/4ml.
  8. I have seen it on the shelf at Tim's. It was a while back. I was in there a few days ago but you cannot see most of the shelves in there at present due to a big plastic sheet, completely across the whole front of the shop due to the pandemic. I'll be popping in tomorrow on the way to the gym as I was gonna query them about Rotexmedica. I'll ask them about Nebido and report back.
  9. Yeah I know what you mean, not so good since the parents stepped back and their kids have taken over. Been using them for 12 years.
  10. A couple of weeks ago I got a few boxes of Bayer Testoviron, 3 x 1ml amps (for the Pakistan market) from Tim's pharmacy. 600baht a box. I have an online source in BKK that will also be stocking them soon. They quoted 500-600b a box when they have them. I'll be going for my routine blood work next week to check my levels using these amps.
  11. Yes, I believe you can avoid qauantine after recovery from COVID, but only if you have had 1 vaccination. (Please see last paragraph below) I was going to do exactly this 6 weeks ago but as the UK still had the PCR tests when returning, I decided to get both vaccinations. So when I arrived I had a vaccination certificate and a COVID recovery certificate. Remember the recovery from COVID certificate usually lasts for 90 days only. Also you have to leave it 14 days after the ONE vaccination until entering the kingdom. The above was when arrivals had to do two PCR tests (day 1 and 5) so I'm not sure about now but I would assume it is still the same. I'm sure someone will correct me if it's changed with the current rules.
  12. I went around 4 visa shops in Pattaya last week to enquire about a retirement visa. I asked them all if they thought the COVID extension would happen again, they all said yes. Obviously just their thoughts and definitely not official.
  13. I had a feeling this was going to happen. Just got back to the UK on Tuesday.....cutting it fine, pheeew. Obviously Swampy is very quiet but the difference to Heathrow was pretty crazy.
