  1. Thon Krueng in Thonglor area has exellent food. The downstairs inside has nice house atmosphere, so make sure to book that if you go because the upstairs (both inside and outside) don’t have the same feeling. https://maps.app.goo.gl/gGXTcSPcSrcNQJj5A?g_st=ic
  2. I had ktm 690 enduro purchased new from the previous importer, Kunka. When I visited the current new importer showroom to ask about parts and service they said “you didn’t buy the bike from us” and could not really provide any support. Tells something about the attitude I guess. I gave up and sold the bike. I use to have Kawasaki before and the service and spare support was very good. I would recommend to go with Kawasaki or Honda for carefree life.
  3. Thai smile web site has this: https://www.thaismileair.com/en/newsupdates/news_2992
  4. ThaiSmile has this list available: https://www.thaismileair.com/en/newsupdates/news_2992
  5. By using a common interest rate calculator from internet (https://www.calculator.net/interest-rate-calculator.html) and the info from Laos, the real interest rate for Laos case is around 11.5%. For Thailand case would need to know the same info (price, down payment, monthly payment and how many months) to calculate the teal interest rate, but as jackdd said, usually what is advertised here as 2.5% turns out to be around 5% real interest rate.
  6. I have had CT400 for four years now and it has proven to be very reliable. When it was new, it had some air leak in the throttle body affecting throttle response, but the dealer fixed it. Otherwise it has been very reliable. Super easy to drive, some of my friends who are not so use to driving bikes have tried it and been comfortable from the start. Natural cruising speed is around 80-90km/h, more than that is nit so nice even the bike can go about 120km/h. Lots of torque considering the size and specs of the engine. If you like the look and spec, go for it. You won’t be disappointed, must “cooler” to drive around than CB!
  7. Good trail maps for north Thailand are available from GTR website: https://www.gt-rider.com/se-asia-motorcycling/threads/gtr-maps-promotion-10-discount-free-delivery.15673/
