  1. Absolutely, my macbook pro is the best ever.  One button = total mute on all those incredibly annoying pop-up zoom adverts, right in my, and your, face.  I will never buy, or even, consider buying anything on one of those video ads.  So very glad i cannot hear them.

And regarding home haircuts: not to difficult but made way easier if headowner not too particular nor vain.  Put the length attachment short, 5mm is best and zoom around your head. Keep the blade cleaned of hair to avoid clogging.  When near done, take small mirror and inspect rear of head, the hardest part.  Sweep up later.  Take shower last.

And one final note: nobody gives a sh*t what yur hair looks like.

  2. Stock Exchange of Thailand.  New IPO coming forth that interests me so i thought i'd ask how i could get involved.  Some rubber glove maker in So. Thailand needs more cash to build new factory in order to make more rubber gloves to support the world's current, and future, hygiene needs.

If you know how to invest in the SET, plz let me know.

    thnx

  3. What is the fascination with the daily or even hourly 'number'?  How many tiny particles now in the air near me?

Yeah, this is the time of year for bad air in north Thailand, and nearby places. If you have been here before at this time, you know the story.  Nothing new about the bad air in April.

The solutions, (if your question is: how can i avoid the health consequences of this pollution?) are:

    1. protect yourself as best you can, day and night with air machines and masks, and mostly stay inside with the air machine.

    2. leave the area for a better place till the air clears.

    3. suicide.

Since you have no influence in govt decisions, that line of logic won't work.

Finally, you are burning  yourself up with anger, bitterness and hate towards the smoke and the negative health consequences of those internal emotions may be far worse than 30 days of bad air.

  4. Lots of fear in Thailand now, due to corona and deep job loss for many folks. She's getting older and maybe sees little future for herself without some hard security. Sure 200K baht does not look like much to many farangs, but might mean a great deal to some county girl.

Cannot recommend sending gold bracelets through the Thai mail system.  Wait till you return to Thailand and then nip over to Hong Kong and get a discount on some golden goodies.

You will deserve a good <deleted> then, bro.

  5. Agree that FolkG ought to re-evaluate his persistent proselytizing on this, and other topics. You simply cannot let loose of your rag doll and continue to shake it in our faces hoping we will hop on your e-wagon and give you merit.

Sure, some folks, young and old, luv their little gadgets as they walk along the street seeing naught but the screen near their nose. Reading novels, history or

tripadvisor selections, who knows. Who cares?

Their is no possible way that some e-device can be a substitute for the adventures of a big library, or small book shop, to open the doors of imagination and amazement. To me the e-book, not the device so much as the selection offered, is rather like a zoo, all cared for, without interaction, and entirely controlled by authority.  The library of books is much like mother nature herself, full of marvels operating without human control.

I don't care how you spend your time or money, FG. But plz, find something better to do than harangue your neighbors.  It's a stressful time for everyone: corona, indoors, bad air, hot, etc.  I'm gonna try watercolors.

  6. Glad to find hardware shops open.  I need to fix my toilet.

They also sell goggles if need to cover eyes to protect against corona.

Don't think HomePro, or other such big shops, are open.  Too much furniture and non-essentials.
