  1. In Bangkok Bank if you place your bank book in updating machine without any transaction it will just print actual amount on your account and actual date anyway. So you don’t need to make any additional transaction to verify your balance.
  2. Non-aircon express way bus from Victory monument costs 10฿ one way and takes half an hour though. 22฿ if aircon. Really it delivers by EMS same week, ordered mine at Wednesday and got it at Sunday. Try to use more rapid and cheap transport, both MRT and skytrain are available in the area. With the scheduled appointment it takes no more than an hour. Come on man! I’m sure you’ve got the best vaccine ever (using an agent with door to door delivery of course) which is keeping you safe from any virus. You strongly believe that you are wealthy for good in this life. But sometimes things changes. Resume that you can’t give us reliable agent contacts as Dr Jack54 asked.
  3. Eventually they accepted my request about three certificates for car driver’s license without questions. Just pay 200฿ for each and no problem. No payment receipts provided. But as I’ve seen they use EMS registered mail for certificate sending so it apparently costs money.
  4. Yeah, forgot that in Thailand they use separate licenses for each type of vehicle, not like in Europe just indicate A B C D E categories in one license. Thank you for your advices guys. Tomorrow will go to Chaeng Wattana.
  5. You think I can request three exemplars in this case? No questions why I need more than one? Made it yesterday. I wanted to make two things in one day but their application confused me. Ok, thank you Jack, will try to use a wrong reason certificate.
  6. Hi, guys! Today faced with the problem in Bangkok Immigration Division. They issue residence certificates only on two reasons - driving license and buying/selling cars and motorbikes. I tried to add my reasons in their application form (obtaining Thai tax ID and bank account opening) but officer refused it and said that they issue certificates only on two reasons. So I have two questions: 1. How things doing with these certificates in other provinces, especially in Pattaya? 2. Maybe someone had an experience of successful application for tax ID or bank account opening (I’m interested in SCB and Krungsri banks only) with wrong reason in the certificate (I’ve read example and seen the reason apparently stated in the text)? Of course, I can make an address affidavit in the embassy but besides the fact it is more expensive I have strong feeling that residence certificate looks more appropriate and solid for my purposes.
  7. I’ve been visited this January when first time applied for retirement visa in Bangkok. Haven’t been visited when applied to extension in February though. Not sure what will happen next year when apply for next extension. But nothing special, no neighbors or apartment’s staff involved. Just some photos of mine in front of the room, inside the room, photos of docs (the same ones which had been applied already). So I am not disturbed a lot.
  8. They accepted all docs which I attached to the application according to the list published on their website. In my case it was copy of lease agreement, copy of receipt (only first month of lease and insurance deposit because I’ve just got in), copy of apartment’s tabian baan (all building is in the possession of one company) and hand drawn map.
  9. No, it’s happened in Bangkok a couple weeks ago with me. By the way my apartment situated about 18 km from CW. I’ve applied for my first retirement non-O based on 800k in bank. Suddenly at Sunday I got a call from immigration officer that tomorrow at 1 p.m. he will be at my place. Usually at this time I study at Thai language school, I said that but officer refused to change the time of visit. So at scheduled time 2 officers came to apartment by police car, make photos of mine in front of the room door, photo of mine and one of them, photos of my passport, bank book and lease agreement (despite all these copies they already have), photo of mine holding opened passport and bank book. Nothing more, took about fifteen minutes. One week late I’ve seen one of those officers at CW counter C speaking to another officer.
  10. Yes, it shows FTT code on inward transfer. And in my opinion it’s enough as evidence of funds foreign source. But 5.3 clause after 5.2 slightly confuse me. So I will print out my MT103 from internet banking app and ask Bangkok Bank about additional paper. Hope it will be enough. Thanks.
  11. Thank you for replying, Joe. Yes, of course, I‘ve read it. I mean 5.3 from this list. Joe, I guess you know Thai language well, could you tell me please, how is in Thai “credit advice”? Print it in Thai, please. Because what I know about international SWIFT transfers it called MT103 form. I have similar form in my foreign bank internet banking app with “executed” stamp but it’s just a copy. I want to ask Bangkok Bank if they can issue something similar with actual date and stamped it.
  12. It’s true but I will apply for a first non-o visa, not an extension
  13. Thank you very much Jack. It gets things much more easier. So I can get a letter from Bangkok Bank at 8:30 and go straight to the Immigration then. By the way, what type of evidence they need about source of funds? I can print SWIFT remittance from my internet banking app and ask Bangkok Bank about additional letter but don’t sure if they can do it.
  14. Are you sure Joe? Next week I’m going to apply for my first Non-O visa based on retirement. Now I’m on visa exempt stamp. As I understood from the information on Bangkok Immigration website’s main page I have to go to Muang Thong Thani.
