Pattaya police once again crack down on motorbike racers
Benmart replied to webfact's topic in Pattaya News
From my elevated day-time/night-time view of Thrappaya and Thepprasit Roads in Pattaya, it's a free-for-all. Nary a mobile cop to be seen. They are too busy at stationary "toll booths". -
I am grateful that I have resources to live here, but mostly that I have never met some of the creatures who post such hateful things about other people. It's the Russian government, not the individua Russian l tourist who is behind all this.

Phuket: Crackdown on tourists riding electric scooters on main roads

Ignore the rest of the roadway carnage and focus on this low hanging fruit. It's so much easier than doing proactive traffic patrol to catch unsafe, reckless and unlicensed/impaired drivers. Truly Amazing. -

Thai protest leader Pai out on bail Thursday, Mike by Friday

Change is coming and only Thais can cause this to happen...along with external, international pressure. This unelected body hates bad pubilicity. What's important to them is image and it has nothing to do with justice. -
As bad as his death is, it's a free for all in Pattaya for two and four-wheeled maniacs. Thappraya Road, Thepprasit Road, Prahtamnak Road, 3rd Road...heck nearly every major road is devoid of mobile police patrol to catch these idiots speeding like madmen, weaving in and out and not wearing helmets. No need for those safety devices for bikers as they are wearing both masks and amulets. And where are the cops? Has anyone seen anybody pulled over by the BIB for reckless driving? The carnage continues.

Ignore the helmet laws. Ignore one way streets. Ignore turn indicators. Ignore speed limits. The Hub of Ignorance.
