  1. Buy another bottle and drink that. When you have emptied that second bottle all the above ideas will seem far more achievable!
  2. What's the point of "informing which way /one way"? It makes no difference to Thais who would ignore that anyway.
  3. "....Thailand’s most famous policeman..." Should that be "Thailand’s most infamous policeman"?
  4. Lived in London around 60 years and watched it change. It used to be a very safe city, but it no longer is. I tend to avoid going out at night in London nowadays, nowhere in London is as safe as Bangkok.
  5. R.I.P. Ms. Kamonnan Thiamphanit. London is an increasingly dangerous city.
  6. The Macavity of Thai politics. Never a dull moment!
  7. The warnings being posted here are possibly the best free advice that you will ever receive. Don't even think about it unless you have powerful, connected friends able (and willing? - and if so, how much will that cost?) to manage the BIB, various tax authorities and City Hall. Google "Pattaya jet ski scam". That will give you an idea of some other challenges you are likely to face. If you start a business there then even when you believe that you have all the necessary permits, permissions and payoffs in place you will find yourself assailed by a constant stream of "officials" (some genuine, others less so, and even the fake officials can be accompanied by the BIB to make you believe that they are genuine) with eye-watering "fines" that you will have to pay due to an alleged transgression of a law or failure to pay a "tax" of which you were unaware, or failure to get a permit the obtention of which is impossible, and even the genuine officials will hit you with trumped-up fines/taxes - because they can. As a foreigner, you are the low-hanging fruit.
  8. Good question. I could understand it in relation to the man as yet unidentified as it could assist in identification, but for Wu Lian Sheng it makes no sense.
  9. Bangers will stay cool because all that pollution will block out the sunlight! It's all good! 😂🤣😂
  10. It is already dead, it just does not yet realise it.
  11. RIP Nurisan Phromsri. It is reported that her younger brother was recently shot dead, allegedly by insurgents, but perhaps this second shooting could be suggestive of a more personal motive in both killings?
