  1. Looking for a good water purification system with self replaceable filter and system to let you know when filters need replacing. Phillips was recommended but I believe there’s no service and installation in Hua Hin where I live
  2. It’s not a choice as that is the only way this particular property is being sold. It’s not available in a freehold to have my wife as the owner
  3. I’m entering into a 30yr lease with a well known developer in a gated community as well and have a Thai wife I will put on the lease document with myself. I’m interested as to how you wrote up the right of survivorship on your lease doc. Thx
  4. I’ve used Dr Niyom at Bumrungrad over the years and find him to be knowledgeable and thorough
  5. Yes…I went in with the bank letter and a history of the money being in the account for years…they wanted lots of other unnecessary documentation as well. Seemed ridiculous but I was able to comply and will now apply for my 1 year permission to stay next week. Having the money in the bank seemed the least important to them of all the requirements that I easily met
  6. I am also trying to go from OA to O…entered with a 30 day stamp, applied for O today…I have the required money in a Thai bank for many years and today they asked for a “ credit advice” from the bank wanting to see where my funds came from. I brought the letter I’ve always used from the bank to renew my retirement visa and they wouldn’t accept it. Anyone with this issue
  7. Dr Parit did a biopsy of my lower intestine during an endoscope/colonoscopy test and found areas in my intestine that had no villi…so he recommended a gluten free diet that has proved to be the answer and will enable the villi to grow back
  8. I’ve seen Dr Parit and he’s excellent. Very thorough and professional..I’ve been suffering with stomach probs for some time and have had many tests with no found results until Dr. Parit pinpointed the problem and now all is good.
  9. Agree…not bad at all and most important he was able to get a good assessment of his med prob and a follow up program every 3 months that should keep his condition under control
  10. I think so…I’ll see him on Friday as we play tennis every week…He did go to Siriraj, just not sure it was the private wing.
  11. Hi Sheryl, Just a quick thank you for all the referrals for my friend. He went up to Siriraj this past Wednesday and was seen by all 3 Doctors. They ran all the necessary bloodwork and ultrasound in the morning with results and counseling in the afternoon. I saw him on Friday and he was very appreciative of your recommendations and will return back every 3 months so they can monitor his situation. Total cost was 15,000 and he was very pleased with that as well. Best Regards, Eric
  12. Hi, Which one would you recommend. I’m usually looking for Dr with good fellowships from good med schools in the US…so I’m not familiar with Thai Dr aside from Chula and Siriraj associate professors. Thanks Sheryl
  13. Thanks so much and I’ll pass on the info today Eric
  14. Btw…he’s open to go anywhere where he can get the proper advice and care. Eric
  15. Hi Sheryl, Thanks for the info. No specific reason I mentioned those hospitals other than I thought he might find some well trained Drs there. He told me today he’s been diagnosed with Thalassemia… He’s getting me the blood work you asked for and I’ll pass it on as soon as I get it. I will give him your advice and he will follow it. Many thanks, Eric
  16. Thanks Sheryl, I’ll see him tomorrow and request what you asked for. He’s a 40 yr old Thai dentist friend living in Hua Hin but seems to not be getting good advice here. many thanks Eric
  17. My friend has anemia and is 40 yrs old and I’m looking for a good hematologist at one of the private hospitals like Bumrungrad or Medpark
