The only way for there to be a peaceful end game for Putin's folly war is for Ukraine to continue to win decisively.
Putin's goal remains and will always be to erase the nation of Ukraine forever. ALL of it.
Sorry that the Thai leaders don't see it (they probably do but insist on not making waves).
Nonsense. This is a war provoked by US/NATO to damage Russia. Ukraine - the cannon fodder - can't win. There will have to be a settlement, which will have to include transfer to Russia of the Russian-ethnic areas now in question. And Crimea.

Who are not cowards then? Those who condemn but buying gas/oil ?
Too many still swallow Washington's propaganda. The areas in question are populated mainly by Russians. For the last few years, while part of Ukraine, they have been bombarded by Ukraine, with 14,000 deaths. Why would they vote to remain Ukranian? For whatever reason, Thailand has got it right.

You can have it paid into an account at Bangkok Bank London Branch and they will send it on to an account in Thailand. In my case it''s to one of their branches, but they will probably send to another Thai bank - you'd need to check. The charge is GBP20 each time, which I think is much less than a UK bank would charge.

Very slowly the world is seeing this.
The west has been doing this for years, not always in a spirit of friend ship. Can you provide a few Chinese examples? Or do you just make things up?

Well said. Some people seem to believe China thinks like warmongering west. There is no basis for that.

The wrong side in the latter case. Not sure about the other one.

Not a good idea. There would be a chance that Thailand might end up subject to secondary US sanctions, and if they included the sort of financial sanctions imposed on Russia and Iran then the Thai banking system might end up locked outside SWIFT and foreigners would be unable to access their pensions and savings held abroad. On top of driving hundreds of thousands of retirees out of the country as a result, it would also single-handedly destroy the foreign tourism industry, unless visitors are willing to pay for everything in gold or crypto.
The US can't sanction everyone!

Does he not realize(or care at all) that the British public are sick to death of economic migrants coming across the channel from a safe country for various reasons but none to do with ensuring safety from persecution as per conventional refugee status. If he wants to end the monarchy in one fell swoop, just keep talking.
Any people genuinely fleeing from persecution and in fear of their lives, who end up crossing the channel in a dingy, will be eternally grateful for a new safe life in Rwanda. I wonder whether the culture in Rwanda would be more appropriate for them also, don't most of these channel crossers not come from North Africa and the Middle east? Anyway seems like a great plan, well done generous UK taxpayers for keeping the refugees safe.
They are refugees, not economic migrants. Refugees have a legal right to choose where to seek refuge. Those choosing UK usually have friends or family here already, or they speak English but not French. 70% or so of arrivals are granted asylum by the Home Office. Charles is right about Rwanda.

Pure propaganda.
“The topic of ‘NATO expansion’ was not discussed at all, and it wasn’t brought up in those years. … Another issue we brought up was discussed: making sure that NATO’s military structures would not advance and that additional armed forces would not be deployed on the territory of the then-GDR after German reunification. Baker’s statement was made in that context… Everything that could have been and needed to be done to solidify that political obligation was done. And fulfilled.”
Mikhail Sergeyevich Gorbachev (2014)
Gorbachev is talking about something else. The promise I mentioned is quite well-known.
YouTube have a discussion between Chomsky and some one else which you might find illuminating. (I haven't seen it yet.) There was also a report on facebook yesterday by a Swiss gentleman, formerly a senior NATO official, which you might look at.

Your lost in your beliefs it appears. You must also believe the Black lives matter drivel, and if so tell me how the embezzled millions of dollars in donations and purchased houses for members that they claim are campuses....thats hypocrisy.
An article by Noam Chomsky in the New Statesman of 8 April 2022 mentions that, in return for Gorbachev’s agreeing to allow a unified Germany to rejoin Nato, Baker and Bush Sr undertook explicitly and unambiguously that “the US would ensure that there would be no move one inch to the east”. They later ratted on their promise and Russia now has NATO on nearly all of its borders to the west. Ie the US have provoked this war.

Western hypocrisy at work. The USA shows little respect for human rights; they turn a blind eye to daily abuses by Israel, then there's Guantanamo, and Julian Assange. And they have facilitated the war in Ukraine and continue to fan the flames. I'm surprised so many people swallow their propaganda.

He's right. War should not have been an option. The west has made it one. When the USSR collapsed the US made a deal with Gorbachev - you don't stand in the way of re-uniting Germany, and we won't move east. Great: end of cold war. But then the west ratted on their promise, inaugurating cold war II, and have been moving east as fast as they can ever since. This makes war an option for Russia - maybe the best option from their point of view? Were they laying a trap for Russia, heedless of possible consequences? Whatever, their irresponsible conduct shares responsibility for the mess we're now in.

I think they sort of sided with both sides, which was quite clever. While Japan was winning it would have made no sense for Thailand to declare war on Japan. And what reason would the Thais have to favour the western imperialists, from whose clutches they had but narrowly escaped, losing some territory in the process? (The European ones; US was not involved.)

There is that dark history sure especially related to the cold war, anti communism. But I'm not seeing that recently. Like when a Latin American country votes in a leftist populist the U.S isn't in general pushing coups. You could mention Venezuela but they're not a democracy.
The dark history sometimes used the cold war as an excuse - eg by labelling Allende as a communist when he wasn't - but it was really all to do with corporate interests, In Chile including Pepsicola! What country lets fizzy drink makers dictate foreign policy?
Nicaragua and Venezuela have just had elections which foreign invigilators seem to have found fair. In both cases the leftwing govts won. So who says Venezuela is not a democracy? Even Guaido is reconsidering his position. And US was saying before the elections that they would be rigged - they may have changed their tune since, but I've not seen any more pronouncements. And they still persist after 62 years with their embargo on Cuba, despite the 15 Nov march being a flop.
US seem to have been involved, via their stooge OAS, with the coup in Bolivia.
It would be nice if the US were to be a force for good in the world but they need to get their act together.

Corporatocracy - yes
And since WWII the US has gone round destroying democracies, usually at the behest of US corporations. Starting with Guatemala around 1950, on behalf of United Fruit. Iran on behalf of oil companies. And so on.

The rules were changed a couple of years ago to exclude citizens residing abroad from the NHS. You now have to pay costs + 50%. I was caught early on - GBP 4000+ for a gastric ulcer. According to J Hunt your tax and NI payments are "irrelevant".
Apart from that the NHS has been seriously run down financially, and had lost a lot of staff from brexit. There are long waiting lists for treatment.
There are good hospitals in Thailand, and they're less expensive.

Not sure what you mean. You can download both Lazada's and your bank's app from the App store (or should be able to.)
Providing you already have internet banking you should be able to set up without going to the bank.
I normally buy the item, then go to Payment > Click on Bank Transfer as method of payment > Copy the order number (take note of final cost of item) > Go to my Bank App > Payment > Search for Payserv (Payserv123) > Paste the order code in first box > Enter phone number in second box > Enter final cost.
That's pretty much it.
Thanks - I've been mis-advised. Will follow your suggestions.
