  1. It was very dark except for the headlights on the car and he can't see a giant animal in the road? ????
  2. Hey thanks for the shoutout! I'm going to be moving to Barcelona in January, but a friend will continue to fly his drone down the Hua Hin train line each month, I will edit and post to the channel as usual. I'll be shipping my electric Porsche 914 over to Spain and upgrading the battery pack with Tesla modules, along with other hopefully interesting tech projects.
  3. Quebec really doesn't want to be part of Canada, but I don't blame them for this stunt. My homeland deserves to be its own country, unencumbered by centuries of stupid tradition.
  4. No they can't be taught anything about *that* cult, only brought up and brainwashed in *our cult.*
  5. I tried to bring my 1973 Porsche to Thailand for 9 years, totally impossible.
  6. and a MIRV-capable intercontinental ballistic missile. Ironic. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LGM-118_Peacekeeper
  7. Yes, had twice until I twigged on this was some kind of scam. Was very polite with the first one, told the second one to <deleted> off.
  8. I just saw this on a Thai TV news report. And I'm shocked, shocked I tell you, that some Thai people did not exercise proper safety procedures when dealing with explosives in a crowded area! ????
  9. Exactly! Reminds me of the line from comedian Steve Hofstetter: "I'm not a helicopter pilot, but if I saw a helicopter stuck in a tree, I'd say "Dude <deleted> up."
  10. I used to use Mr. Vicky near the Tessaban but he went back to India during COVID. Now I use the tailor shop next to Everest restaurant behind the temple downtown. They did a great custom pair of pants for me with a secret zipper pocket for my wallet and passport while traveling.
  11. Great, don't have one then. Live your life the way you want, but keep your nose out of everyone else's.
  12. I am getting quotes to ship the contents of my condo from Hua Hin to Barcelona and every one of them explicitly say something like "Following items require export permit (Fee: Baht 3,000 for up to 10 objects): -All kind of Buddhas image / religious statues / relics / reproductions / spirit house etc " So you need to get an export permit and that itself may be easy / difficult / impossible.
  13. Good thing Thailand has these protected jobs that are so highly skilled that it's impossible that a foreigner could do anywhere near as good a job.
  14. I think it's a Nissan 350Z or 370Z. Wannabe sports car for broke young Thai guys.
  15. Republic? Here's some bananas for you.
  16. Hey thanks for watching my videos! Nice that the OP gave me credit on the image of the station. I have to say, big progress is being made, seems a push in construction is underway. Doesn't have to be perfect to get the train rolling on the new track and elevated section. I'm editing the September 15 video now and will publish it in a few days.
  17. You should be OK just walking along the beach, I never had a bite in all of the time I spent there. I knew someone who did the old bury-my-boyfriend-in-the-sand and the next day he had dozens of nasty welts from the sandflies that were underneath the sand.
  18. He probably rode the brakes all the way down the hill overheating them. My parents had a bed & breakfast at the base of Whiteface Mountain in upstate New York. Tourists would regularly get to the bottom of the hill with smoke pouring off the brakes.
  19. My SCB debit card doesn't have my name on it and I never thought it was an issue until I tried to use it in person to rent a car in Barcelona. The agent refused the card because it doesn't have my name on it. I tried to explain it's a security feature but he insisted so I was lucky I had my American Visa card with me too.
  20. I have a problem with this "sellers own fleet" right now. It still shows "Packed" status for three weeks but the seller insists it has shipped and it is a "Lazada technical problem." It's already 11 days past the last day of the expected delivery window. No way to track it, I wonder if/when it will show up.
  21. You've already been spanked for your misunderstanding of 'a rectangle', so I'll just give you the science. They are using 'Cubesats', a modular microsatellite system based on a 10x10x10cm *cube* standard called a 1U Cubesat. If you need more space, you use additional 10x10x10 volumes making 2U, 3U sizes, etc. These standard size payloads fit into standard slots in the mother satellite deployment system. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CubeSat
  22. The saying goes Mechanical Engineers make bombs, Civil engineers make targets. But in this case the Civil engineer took out his own target.
