And how clear was the address? Showing "THAILAND" in the last line?

    And the postal code above?

A few months I had case of a letter from Germany that was addressed to:  0 KHON KAEN :saai:

No country, no proper postal code. Took 7 weeks or so.

Yes cleary last line, I use a mail forwarding company and its been fine for years, just this one last month went missing for a while, if it had not been registered prob never would of seen it again.

  2. Last month this is has happened to me and rm said I could not cliam for weeks, but after 21 days it arrived, you are right normally 1 week, I was worried when it was not tracking on thai website, when it appeared I was more relieved, like you I had my uk replacement cards, I found out it had gone to Finland and they redirected to Thailand, I have found that the new thai website tracking is off/poor even picked things up which was not tracking from the post office as I use a po box too, I hope yours arrive soon too.

  3. I too use giff gaff, the sim took a couple of weeks to arrive, they also send out an email if you have not used the phone for 6 months as a warning, as above top up is easily too.

If its not urgent wait and order from web site, if urgent sent me a pvt message I always keep a couple spare can send you one.

  4. I am going next month to renew extension but it will be annoying if I am asked to come back again 90 days but I have no plans to leave the country this year, I am also hoping to come off the 800k to monthly deposits when I can actually make sense of the combi requirements at Phuket.

Did anyone notice this post relating to Phuket I O yesterday from PIV website.States that post application 800k seasoning will be checked randomly. You might think that agent submitted or assisted applications may not be checked randomly if at all?

I have just gone to read that, hard if you do your 90 day online unless its just rejected,  does the combo method read like it has to be pension if you have no embassey letter do you think?

Yes because it was a special Debit Card which I had to wait since December 16th to parents address from Transferwise, now I have to wait for them to issue another one.  I don't watch junk on TV so I don't know what you're referring to

I got one of those cards from transferwise attached to my border accounts, I have never used it do you think it will any good for over here as atm charges hit you hard here?

  7. I have the same as you 800k for April when I go in for my extension, April 2020 I want to use the combo method so I am starting my monthly transfer in April this year so I have at least 12 to show.

I planned to take out 400k as soon as I got my extension and just leave 400k there for next year as I feel that there is no need to leave the 800k untouched for a further 3 months as I wont be using 800k option next year.

My other option is to start the monthly transfers as planned and also leave the 800k untouched for 3 months to give me the option still next year of doing either full 800k or combo, if I take the 400k out directly after my extension is granted I wont have both options as broken the 3 month after rule, I am thinking of this option so I can see how the rules settle.

No this just looks like the "bare bones" to assist IOs with the basics

Now that I have never seen posted...........Yes, 800k 2 months before and 3 months after, then 400k untouched, but combination method m o, not seen. Nor anything about using the 65k pm method AND having 400k in the bank.

Perhaps different interpretations, but the one which interested me was as posted because my remits to BBK Bank don't always show as foreign funds, but perhaps they don't have to??

Ok thanks, I may go down there in a few weeks, I normall go mid April to do mine but I was interested in the combo method as would prefer to leave 400k all year round as I do monthly transfers anyway but not pension.

It would appear, that provided the 65,000 baht per month transfer shows up on your bank statement as an international transfer in, there is no requirement to show whether these funds are pension or return from investments! But who knows at the individual IO might require! We live in exciting timesemoji57.png

Sent from my X98 Plus II (C2D6) using Thailand Forum - Thaivisa mobile app

Thanks, I think since I have a 3 months left will look more into the 65k route
