you dont know what you are talking about.I know for a fact that they teach nil history at all except a little Thai in schools here so anyone surprised they are completely unaware what democracy is all about?
I used to teach history to Mattayom school
kids. World history is included.
If you taught at an international school I believe you for sure. Otherwise "you don't know what you are talking about" and I have taught at many different schools... History is not even a subject in regular thai schools?!

Hilarious. Just can't make these crazy campaigns up, but I guess whiskey was involved. I suppose funding was 100.000 for whole project. Spent in 10 minutes. Talk about losing face... How about paying the police fair wages instead and all is fixed? Oh, no that's just the problem. Everything should basically be for free. Amazing Thailand top management incompetency unveiled yet again... And it's back to all smiles and mai pen lai crap

We all, I think, know that several police murders of prominent families are at large in Thailand and never will be prosecuted. I had my high hopes once I came here, positive and all, but after seeing my own eyes exactly how ridiculously unjustly foreigners are treated in the justice system here I just can't believe this one is handled with any form of professionalism or sorry to say as usual. I just don't understand why US and EU let them get away with all the BS that mainly the Thai Chinese are doing to this place. The attitude that Thai are so nice and should be handled softly is utter nonsense. See how they drive. Egoistic maniacs with NO respect for human life. Thailand is going to be big loser once ASEAN get going for sure. I feel sad about the future and all decent people. What they probably need is serious international bashing this time if these boys are innocent

Hi, what is the situation regarding Viber blocking in Thailand?? DTAC whose internet service in the sticks where I am is woeful have started blocking Viber on my phone. PS after blocking, I need to restart the phone for a return of internet service, bastards!!!
Peeved about that.
The only reason I stayed with them is because they will keep your number active for 12 months for a fee which means I do not need a new number every year.
Anybody got any suggestions about which operator will keep my number active for 12 months and not block my viber???
PS I am in Nong Khai near Phon Phisai in case that makes a difference.
Thank you

I think we've lost topic as question was how to get drivers license for bike. It's easy if she has normal intelligence... Just find her local dmv and they have theory courses in morning for about two hrs. Then it's tests of eyes, reflexes and a simple driving exam. All passed pay for license 100 and total around 700 baht for the whole thing. Reason for buying her a bike is your private choice, but hope she's worth it!
Ps. Insurance is pretty worthless if you don't have a drivers license so insist or NO bike

I suggest taking the Nakhon Pathom way as you can make a short visit the tallest pagoda in the world then, that impress most tourists. No problems on that road now as just has been renovated...

Farang husbands providing massive boost to Isaan economy
in Isaan
Posted
Time for Thailand to shape up and treat farangs from countries mentioned at least with some dignity and give them proper visas like their wife's received in their home countries for their valuable contributions. Further numbers suggest a massive import of more farangs are good for the economy. PM should promote it. Thai men especially in Issan soon have to import wife's from neighboring states on large scale or shape up or interesting consequences are coming in a generation or two. Not think so though as can't see much longer than their short noses... 5555555!
