Surat Thani tourism association says car bomb has no impact
Of course not- now thousands living under the motto: if life gets boring- risk it want to go there.

It's like telling a corpse not to smoke in bed and if you do we monitor it.

I don't know if this is related to the incidents in the south. However, for a long time already I thought for myself, how long will it take before the southerners take their problems to Bangkok or other areas where it hurts and get much more (international) attention than with blowing up small motorbike bombs in Hat Yai.

How much is an "untouchable ticket" these days?

Maybe they gave up on the dump yard of freaky expats already?

They should spray “Leichenfledderer” at the door of her home. The German word for vulture/body-stripper/person who robs dead people.

On which planet is this guy living? The average speed in metropolitan BKK is between 7 and 15 km/h and nobody is giving way for an ambulance with flashing lights and running sirens anyway.

Got to see it the positive way: My clients are happy already since they found out I'm grounded at home working, glued to the chair in front of the PC and only leave home for emergencies during the days of madness.

I agree but that won't happen. The bar stool detection unit will be working on this one as they do with every other farang death out here.Would it be possible just once for people to wait for the results of an autopsy before choosing sides?
I understand your point and agree. But to be fair as you claim for yourself- this fire is constantly fed by incompetent cops and laissez-faire attitude when thorough police investigation is needed. Every action has a reaction.

What scares me the most comes from experience. I don't trust any statements of authorities here. How many times did they try to cover up things and handle this in Fukushima's TEPCO style: only admit what is publicly known already and can't be covered up anymore.
In my opinion the procedure here seems to be: Ebola, SARS, H5N1- let's call it measles for as long as it works, we have to protect our tourism industry.

If this is what it takes to make Visanu wonder already, he must be paralyzed every morning discovering there is a another sunrise.

Please add one more, non Thai, to the 63.1%
Happy Songkran, Prime Minister
You bring tears to my eyes.
In some cases it takes a little extra afford to keep the tears of joy rolling. I fear that's the point when reading Costas' posts.

Did you already mount metal plates to your sneakers so they make a nice sound when you click your heels?

To start at square one:
what is wrong with a country where moral authorities (apostles) are needed to tell men that rape should not be their favorite past time?
But if you really have to go for it- get a couple of bonus points in court blaming it on the fact the victim was not wearing what the guardians of moral call appropriate attire.

officials to enforce Article 44
Let's call them Siam Gestapo- that sounds exciting. As said before: only learn from the best. Btw- A-A-Center (attitude adjustment center) sounds more contemporary than KZ.

I learned they sent legal experts to Europe to discover democracy (good luck for that).
Now I am curious how many teams they already sent to Malaysia to ponder the chances how to copy and implement the concepts of RELA. This religious police with sometimes 17 year old boys has the authority arresting 60 something year old foreign couples in their rented houses for not producing a marriage certificate under “Khalwat” (being together without marriage).
Check out your local sweatshop if they are working on SS-like uniforms for the burqa cops over here…

The committee’s chairman, Ass Prof Jumpol Rodkhamdee, said the development of the country’s digital infrastructure required building user trust and cyber security. His committee called for clear protections of user privacy and cyber security, as well as increased competitiveness of digital organizations.
Is this guy an offspring of the hippie generation: love and peace everywhere...?

why do you think Thais should tolerate all these sugar daddies...
Wouldn't that question be better addressed to uncounted family members in Isaan, taking the benefits of sending their young women off to be bar girls?
