If your account has been dormant for over 10 years there is a possibility that the account balance could be transferred to Finance Ministry accounts but it is always available, you do not lose it. This is not supposed to apply to fixed deposit accounts, though.
But the question will be answered if you call the bank, of course, and ask them...before you come here.

Hi,
I’am returning to Thailand after being in England for a few years. I have 800,000 baht in a fixed deposit. I’am going to return to my country, as I have not been well and think it is the best for me.. How easy will it be for me to get my money from the bank..

Very confused on what I need to re-enter Thailand.. I have been in Australia for the past 3 years, going over to BKK for 2/3 weeks a year. I own my own condo, going to try and go over before Xmas, as have payments to be made, car to be registered etc: Can anyone out there tell me what forms I need to get before or when I get there, as after reading everyone’s posts, I’m really at a loss to know what I have to get or do. Would really appreciate any advice !!!

Thank you so much, now I know, very confusing seeing all of the answers, then not knowing which one is right. ????
I’am a female not a male, as said on my profile.

Can anyone tell me what is required to get a visa renewal. If I have 800,000 baht in Kasikorn account, do I still have to get this new letter confirming that I have 65,000 baht coming into my Kasikorn account. I have been overseas for quite awhile, I’am really at a loss to understand it all.
Kindest regards,
P.M.
