  1. You people are a sorrowful bunch.   Last night you stayed up hoping she wouldn't return so you can make your ugly comments.  Now she comes back and you start your insults.   Very disgusting group of people here.

I sincerely agree with you. She has come back and still the insults on this forum continue - but if we believe in Karma then all this mud and dirt will come 100 X on their heads and I won't be sad to hear it happening. She was dux of her class in Chiang Mai University and graduated honorably. Her achievements and work have been exemplary and we should never forget who stopped the rice payments to the farmers - they too have to face their KARMA. Those thugs and vicious despicables who took their money out of the bank and issued threats are the true ones who caused tragedy in the Kingdom.

She has come back to clear her involvement and I hope that 'reason' wins in her defense and those who wrought ed the system are caught and punished. Anyway, those on this forum were quick to keep the lies going on how much was missing and really hate it when the percentage is now known. They can't handle being so wrong - they would rather support the bankrupt murderer - the great leader -  of the innocent in their quest to damage and destroy a 'good' person. I believe this dirt will come back and smother them in time - it is a law of the universe - unstoppable!!!

  2. again the stalling of justice, this is all the ptp/reds know, how to put it all off so they can run away like their boss. These red terrorists need to be denied their bullsh*t excuse and made to pay for what they have done or justice will not be served at all. Its time the people of Thailand were able to rely on the courts to treat everyone equal not on how wealthy they are.

I thought a bit before making a comment but I find it hard not to say something about your 'dear Leader' who has warrants for MURDER and he is too busy to attend any court appearance - a double standard by you and I will say it again, now that you have been so hateful in things you print and put on public media that you should start to shiver at the possibilities that your targets of hate may come after you - maybe not today but they have memories like elephants. It is okay to give civil replies in public but in my opinion you are not a very informed person though you have had over a thousand posts on TVF in your history of quite a few years.

  3. hahahahaha, she will be sh*tting bricks waiting for the answer to this. Can you see her trying to physically answer any questioning herself, she is totally illiterate when it comes to talking, even thinking causes her to panic as she isnt capable of it without someone to give her the answers.

Lets hope they see straight through her bullsh*t and say no.

You are very mistaken about her abilities and as the police are now watching Thai Visa Forum I think you should be very afraid. She was dux of her class at Chiang Mai University and how about you? Are you able to boast of anything academically? I read on an eminent Face Book account of how she spoke for over 90 minutes at the National Defense College - fluently and without notes - does that sound like the 'totally illiterate' that you have the hide to slur in this public post? Yes, I would be very afraid and watch yourself for however long you still think you want to be a resident of the Kingdom. Maybe you are one of the 'dear Leaders', S T, special boys and have no fear but his days are going to be spent in a Thai prison eventually, unless he scoots the country for a haven abroad with his ill gotten gains from Thai people.

  4. No, Khun Sutherp, it's not the final, many more to come.

But at the end your cause will prevail.thumbsup.gif

    Which cause? I ask because Suthep seems to come with a large assortment "causes" such as;

    - Corruption and croneyism as demonstrated by his reign as Deputy Prime Minister in the Abhisit government and the long time political boss of Thailand's hub of corruption (Surat Thani, Krabi, Phuket, Nahkon Si Thammarat).

    - Chaos and an absolute disregard for the law as evidenced by his ongoing squatting on public lands and disruption of Bangkok

    - Sabotage and damage to Thailand's economy

    - A special approach to having family members develop land.

    - An ability to successfully invest in palm oil

    - Political blackmail

    - A double standard

So please help me out and indicate which cause.

Yes, all of the above and don't forget who had turned off the water and electricity so the sprinkler system couldn't work when the fires were lit, Yes, the great leader, the murderer of innocent, unarmed women and men and the injury and maiming of thousands.

Don't forget that the 'criminal charges' against T S are that his wife bought land when he was P M - hardly a crime that warrants 2 years in a Thai prison and any blind person can see it is politically motivated - if T S came back the problems would be worse than anyone can imagine because millions of supporters would break down the prion walls to release him - he knows the ONLY thing he can do is stay away and let those filth smearers attack him.

  5. I thought a coup would not happen this time but if there are more terrorist attacks I think there will be no other solution to the ongoing problems to protect the lives of all the people.

I thought this too but I have heard the village gossip that a 3rd party will launch an attack so that the END GAME can happen - the army will come out. Lives will be lost but the gossip says that they must not hurt S T. It is a sad future and I hope civil war doesn't break out - North/North-East etc and others against Central/Southern. I have loved my years in Thailand and been here for all the coups from 1991

  6. The irony is that in a couple of days, the 130 billion baht mark will be reached. The same money Pheu Thai wanted is now being withdrawn by the people. GBS is very close to collapse if this continues much longer. This company has been around for a hundred years. But Kittirat's gambit has managed to bring it to the brink of closure in less than a week.

You are becoming more hysterical by the day. Closure? Absolute nonsense. Evil scaremongering and shameful

    I agree, evil evil scaremongering.

How are southern, poor Thai, able to withdraw such an amount? It seems they are really RICH - just an illusion as to being poor and why do they want the Thai farmers to not have the money owing to them? They hate the northern and the north eastern people so much they want them to suffer in sickening ways. Every step the government takes to get the money to those suffering they are blocked by the Father of Lies and Deceit. Who is this incarnation of evil intent - non other than the corrupt, bankrupt ((according to the assets and liabilities declared as a politician)) murderer - another DECISIVE day passed on Wednesday and where were the millions? another no-show!!!

How will it end for Thailand? Will the invisible hand reveal itself? Can millions and millions of ordinary, lovely people resume life - families eating, working, educating, sharing together again? Can the elites go to their homes and be a parent again? Free food, water, entertainment, money doesn't send a good message to these people who seem to be enraged over what????? just an illness of obsession with a Thai family - TS

Get a life and I look in a mirror when I say this. I LOVE THAILAND

  7. As I keep repeating, Suthep has the real power backing him, the Shins are now in in the realms of taking desperate measures. For the sake of the country the Military need to issue an ultimatum. Shins book your flights out of the country, PTP find a legitamate leader and lets re run the election.

Suthep has some big people looking after the shop , I wouldn't quiet say backing directly.

I think this is right. How did such a well trained unit know where he was and able to retrieve him?

There is a force much mightier than the face on stage.

  8. I hope this has open the eyes of the farmers to who is their friend. Suthep is two face, he has his people withdraw the money from the bank in the south while he often a mere 25 million baht for legal fees for farmers. I wonder how much money was pockets from his march on Silom the other day.

Can't accuse you of being two faced or you wouldnt be wearing the one you have!

Suthep isn't two-faced. He has only one face, and that face if the face of the Bangkok-centered, Thai elite who are so enraged that they've lost control of their country to simple, country-folk from the north through the vote they are now willing to bring down the popularly-elected government my any means possible. I assume Suthep will just continue to thwart all efforts of the caretaker government to conduct state business and escalate the violence in the protests which is aimed to provoke the government into taking police action to restore law and order until the violence escalates sufficiently to justify another military coup.

These people know they can't regain control via the ballot box so will resort to any means possible.

Unfortunately I see a long term of unrest for Thailand... sad.png

I agree with this post. Why was it so called farmers in the South that withdrew their money? How did they amass so much wealth that 30 BILLION Baht could be withdrawn? Do they hate the other THAI farmers in the North and North East so much that they want to stop them getting payments for the rice they already grew and sold?

It is a horrible political stunt by a horrible group led by one of the most horrible men in Thailand - Suthep, the bankrupt murderer who sizzles at the thought that one day Oak could be PM of this country. His mind is deranged and a liquid mess of seething hate for a family which is Thai and I sincerely wonder who is BEHIND him so that it seems nobody can touch him - I think Thai people knw but I'm a foreigner and I know nothing - even though I've been through the coups from 1991 to present

  9. Does anybody wonder about the "INVISIBLE HAND' behind this mob and its leaders? Could it be that Thai people know what is BEHIND a lot of this that expats have no clues at all. I know in my village that there is plenty of gossip as to why these arrest warrants are not able to be executed.

I wait and watch and hope that those in the southern areas can get back to a normal life - everything seems to be in place in the north if the madman, bankrupt, great leader gets his way for a non-elected ruling committee and tries to turn Thailand into a North Korean style system - the North and North Eastern Provinces and others will have no option but to BREAK FREE.clap2.gif

  10. In some way this is to save the DP and help it survive...There is a constitution provision that states boycotting an election twice, will eliminate any given political Party.....Now the EC and PAD-Dem user-friendly courts are trying to save the Party...To their surprise, the street stuff has been unable to dislodge Ms. Y....so they need to do something....It is my understanding though, that the PTP is advising its' candidates, "Full speed ahead"....It is all a game, and who knows the reality at this point.....I don't think the coup-mongers will accept this anyway...It just emasculates them for the inevitable election a short time from now, and Suthep with his co-leaders will be under immediate law enforcement pressure.

WOW - checkmate!!! If the Dems don't contest then they are OUT as a political party. If the election goes ahead there will be bi-elections for those unfilled seats - Suthep has been outsmarted by a PM who some posters think is a dummy, a dumb puppet, - no, she is a fine graduate with Master Degree from one of the finest Universities in Thailand - Chiang Mai - and even the PCAD can't disagree with that because their own Meglomaniac leader is graduate from C M U too (you can read this if you google his name and read Wikipedia)

  11. It's just like I thought. They do have a plan for those seats in the southern areas - they will have bi-elections and eventually get the numbers so they can govern as the majority want.

Suthep will have a difficult time when he HAS to admit that all his 'dreams' have been squashed. He will need a therapist to help him work out his 'illness' - the vacuum of being irrelevant - it is a big black hole that he is falling head first into.

The farmers will get their money, the mega projects will create the jobs needed to keep the economy bouncing, the tourists will be able to enjoy the Land of Smiles, peace in the streets and schools and universities and work places.

It's like this long cold spell - it will soon be over and those who still have an itch about 'T S' will have to scratch themselves some other way - get a life to start with. Put 'T S' out of your minds and lives, things HAVE changed. Drop the 'S' and just concentrate on 'T' for Thailand as a whole and respect the voters rights. Say, 'NO' to becoming like Russia WAS, North Korea IS, and the millions of lives lost like in Cambodia and China. Sick Suthep needs to cool off in a prison where he belongs and they aren't trumped up charges that are against his wicked doings past and present.

  12. We have had a long cold season too this year in northern Thailand. My bill this month was the lowest in a long long time - 0 baht - I used less than the amount needed for a bill to kick in. During the hotter times I use the a/c and my bill is usually 300B p/m. I have an instant hot water system for the shower but I don't have a fridge. I buy all meals from the market so need for one.

    it did surprise me though.

  13. There is no other way out but this measure.

To make sure the polling booths are free from the 'thugs' this is the only way.

Respect the vote of ALL - that is the cry of all people in the country - nobody wants a North Korean style leader or a Lennin - history has shown what happens - remember Pol Plot?

I hope it is water cannons, rubber bullets, battons if needed and not the visciousness of Suthep like in 2010 - murderer!!!

I didn't read in any of the English language press the report in the Thai newspapers that an official from Samui denies Suthep has sold his lands to finance anything.

Liar liar Suthep - there is only one thing on your mind and in your boiler room - T S - get a life and think about Thailand. Forget about him. Let the ballot box keep working for ALL and, maybe not in Suthep's life time, democracy in a purer form will reform itself. Suthep had a chance for 2 years + but did nothing because the corrup politician was feathering his own nest and those of his family and friends - the same ones he wants to RULE the country with his iron fist. People aren't blind as some of those who post here. They also have just one thing on their mind - T S - get a life and enjoy the smiles and the life of this beautiful country - reform is certainly on the way - don't worry, be happy.

  14. my favourites are similar to yours. I love khao soy,rad nar, masaman curry, phad pak ruam mitre. I also like going to any mookaata and cooking on the charcoal grill. Another favourite is bakmee luang. I've adapted to the spicy stuff and I love it too - gets the endorphins flowing.

  15. I love the 'mookaata' - eat all you want, cook it yourself, includes sweets for 129B which is walking distance from my house in a country town. I also love the daily, freshly cooked food I get from the market at 25B a serving - usually spend about 100B a day = 3,400B p/m so my pension sure goes a long way. I also have an electricity bill of about 300B p/m so I am a very happy bloke living in Northern Thailand - weather also good and no 'shut downs' eithercheesy.gif gotta love it

  16. I am very dismayed that the PDRC has targeted the average government civil servant in their war to unseat the current administration. What purpose does it serve to issue ultimatums to workers that they will be forcibly dragged from their offices if they don't join the demonstrations. Is this democracy in action? These workers are just trying to do their best to serve the interests of all Thai people and probably something they have been doing for many years under many government administrations. The tactic of bullying people who are your potential allies does nothing to further your cause. It only serves to display that there is no political space for opposing views or alternatives being offered. As long as there is a sense of blind 'righteousness' by any group or political party, no solution to the current impasse will be found.

I like this post and agree with the reality of these thugs telling Civil Servants that they would be dragged out of their offices if they didn't comply is totally thuggish. It shows the true nature of supporters of PDRC who, although supposeed to be EDUCATED, elete, middle class, have no respect for other EDUCATED people. The whole universe has to revolve around them and their leader or they will bully, bash, drag you out. Sounds like the 'killing fields' is about to resurface.

  17. The Nation exceeds its own very high threshold for dishonesty and biased 'reporting'. the govt has tried to reach out to the opposition and discuss the postponement of the election....only to have Mr Suteph announce the details of those discussions on a rally stage. Read the Bangkok Post....it offers a relatively balanced view of events in Thailand

I like this post. It always amazes me the way some post about Dr T being a fugative criminal - his so called crime was that he was PM when his wife bought some land - not all judges believed he was guilty of a crime.

If he did allow them to put him in a prison then all hell would have broken out with innumerable numbers of supporters tearing down the prison walls and we would have seen REAL criminals back on the streets - he has done the best thing for Thailand by remaining outside. - he was a businessman with some failures and some big wins - he didn't need to tickle the till which could be an interesting project for the corruption watchmen to look into Suthep the murderer and how he became unussually rich. He was responsible for power and water switched off so the sprinkler systems couldn't work at the time of the fires in BKK.

To go ahead with the election IF it is sure to fail is nonsense so they have done the maths and believe the parliament can be convened against the nay sayers naying.

I'm a resident since 1995 and I love this, my adopted country. Maybe now that the thought is out there about Provinces breaking away then it could grow in momentum - Isaan, North, and along the border down to Trat/Chantaburi which gives the sea-port - let the Bangkokians have their elite, their educated, their hero, Suthep, to lead them like Lennin - no elections, no freedom of speech or dissent. Tourists can pour in through the Interntional Airport in Chiangmai and still enjoy the wonders of amazing Thailand, its culture and diversity of culture.

  18. why the comment that she is picked number 1 by a phone call from Dubai? Is someone monitoring phone calls or is this just hate speaking again with no proof? In modern democracies a person could be sued for unsubstantiated statements like this. I also intensley dislike the comments that she is STUPID - those who subscribe to this are unaware that she wA dux IN HER YEAR AT CHIANG MAI UNIVERSITY - THAT WAS TOLD TO ME PERSONALLY BY A STUDENT FROM HER CLASS.

Why so much HATE towards her?

Can you imagine what would happen if her brother came back and was put in a prison? Millions would come and break down the prison walls - only 100,000 (allegedly) out of 14 million showed up yesterday for ANOTHER false statement that things would end. How many times has the date changed and changed? I don't believe that ALL votes are bought by PTP - that is another FALSE accusation by ill informed hateful people.

I love the King, I love Thailand and have been so happy to have lived here since 1995clap2.gif

  19. As a teacher I was always appreciative for all the gifts I received throughout the year. The most given gift was a fruit basket or an assorted gift basket. For a lady teacher I think a 'gift certificate' to a department store is fine, the gift certificate for a restaurant may cause some problem if they take another person who will need to pay - could be a bit expensive for her.

Anyway, as a teacher for many years, I found that gifts from students varied according to the school I was teaching at - one school they gave simple gifts of flowers - that was nice too. It also saved face for a teacher who didn't receive gifts of substance.

be assured that whatever you give will be accepted graciously and kidly - that's been my experience.

  20. I had a Guest House in Chiang Mai and every guest had to present their passport and we would copy their name, PP number, TM card number and visa number. I don't know if this is still the rule. I paid a lady 500B a month to collect the daily sheet of names and she took it to Immigration.

I think when you book into a hotel they also take the PP and photo copy it - probably visa page copied too.

Personally, I have never been asked and I've been here since 1995
