    No.

Like I said, the nature of driving and the law regarding breaks, means that many drivers are well under the 90 days limit.

Let me give you an example from my first hand knowledge:

Day 1, Drive from Tilbury to Scotland.

Day2, Load Scottish Beef and drive to Dover.

    Day3, Drive to Spain.

Day4, Continue drive to Spain. Tip beef in Spain and collect oranges. Start return journey.

Day5, Continue drive back to Tilbury and tip oranges.

    Day 6 and 7, 40 hour break.

There you go. A typical week for a long distance driver. Maximum of 3 days per week in EU countries. That gives 30 weeks to use up the 90 days. I believe that there are only 26(ish) weeks in 6 months.

Every other week a driver is allowed to take only 24 hours break instead of the 45 hour break.

And none for those in Spain either?

Those in Spain are illegals also, why didn't they register I hear you asking and I agree with you.

"These are people who have been flying under the radar for a long time when they should have registered their residence in the country and didn’t for whatever reason,” said Sue Wilson, the chair of Bremain in Spain, a group campaigning for the rights of British migrants living in Spain.

“If they are unable to prove they were resident before 31 December and get entitlement to remain in Spain, they now face a 90-day deadline to leave the country.

“Many are still planning to do the same and think the Spanish will either turn a blind eye or will take time to get their act together to enforce the law. But they are kidding themselves. These rules are rules that have applied to third-country nationals for years and the Spanish authorities have no catching up to do."

Definitely whole wheat for me......can tolerate white for toast.....the search goes on....though to be fair some of the bread in 7/11 isn't bad.

You need a sweet tooth for 7/11 bread. Luckely I was brought up on Sunblest and when we came into money we started buying Warburtons. A bacon sandwich in Warburtons Toastie is the height of decadence.

That was going to be my first question......desperate for decent bread.......if you make any serious headway let me know.....please.

It depends what you call decent bread, soft white is what you should be starting off with, whole wheat bread can be very difficult to get the required results.

Yes but he said "once in a generation" Vogie.

Does this mean we cant have another general election?

You are now saying that when Johnson says it, it doesnt mean anything but when Salmond or Sturgeon said it that was written in tablets of stone? It is somehow binding.

Do you realise how weak the position of unionists is if THAT is your only argument against another referendum?

You are being very disingenuous now, you know that a General Election is every 5 years or there-abouts, where-as a referendum is every 75 years. HTH

Now its in the Express so lets not be questioning the source shall we?

I really like the bit that said......

BORIS JOHNSON has today urged Sunday Express readers to back the Conservative Party in a “critical once in a generation election” on Thursday.

He asked the public to back him, the public duly obliged and gave him a better than expected result, he could not have asked for anymore. Where-as your SNP asked the same question and was answered with a resounding 'no,' when will you start to take heed and you have been informed before that a referendum bears no resemblance to a General Election, stop trying to make a silk purse out of a sows ear, the Scots said no, sorry the nats don't like it, but c'est la vie.

Nice deflection. I never mentioned polls. Although when they were in your favour you were a rabid supporter of them.

Back to the point at hand.

Johnson said the last election was once in a generation. Does that mean we cant have any more general elections for whatever you and the Brexiteers deem to be a generation?

Johnson said the last election was once in a generation.

Have you a link to Boris saying that, but the way that Captain Hindsight and his trusty team of deplorables are performing I wouldn't be at all surprised if that turned out to be true.

Of course Johnson also promised he would rather be dead in a ditch than ask for another extension so have you and the Brexiteers held him to that?

Ah, we are playing Snakes and Ladders with the polls again rookie, when they are down they are down and we don't hear a peep from you, but when they are up they are up and you are like a dog with two tails, consistantly predictable.

Who says the next referendum is due in 2056?

    You?

Nah, to quote two of our most trusted and honest politicians, Alex Salmond and Nicola Sturgeon they both said "once in a lifetime," which is circa 75 years. I think neither of us will see it in our lifetime rookie.

I think I was being overly generous when I stated 56 years, it is much more than that.

What is his affiliation though?  My father was effectively has 'advised' Progressive Conservative, Liberal, and NDP each while they were the governing party.   [I still to this day don't know who my father voted for, he would only ever say what policies he supported or did not or what behaviour he found to be unconscionable -- When I asked, he would say that is a private matter].  He advised in matters of his expertise.

Forget the wicki page info, I may have unwittingly given you incorrect info, his wicki page may have been under cyber attack. My appologies if so.

She misled parliament, a question is whether once it was discovered did she correct the record with parliament in a timely manner (the independent inquiry found she did not knowingly mislead parliament).  When it is done on purpose, it is a breach of ministerial code - when it is not done on purpose - the record is suppose to be made straight in a timely manner and effectively it is a situation where the intent of the rules is ... please don't make a habit of it.

Boris Johnson and several of his ministers on several occasions have misled parliament - and IMHO in a very deliberate way.   If the conservatives in Scotland are saying Sturgeon should resign, then they really should be demanding Boris Johnson resign.... but of course all party politics is hypocritical in nature - so it is not a surprise that they do not.

As far as the impact of mistakes (mistakes are always made), that is a question for the electorate to consider.

Are you saying that James Hamilton that led the inquiry is independent, he was once a senior advisor to the SNP and only a day before he gave his conclusion to the case his Wicki page was mysteriously altered deleting that information.
