They have the right to put the application under consideration for 30 days at it's done at some other offices. But I am not sure that charging 4,900 (an extra 3,000) baht for an immediate decision is an 'official' charge.
read TV post dated 25th July might be relevant

all inclusive including happy ending( maybe )
It is a little difficult to image a $7,800 massage chair. What types of massage does it do?

also i dont think Thais have ever heard of good service
you NEVER GET WHAT YOU ASK FOR i have a guest house ask for a job to be done ,and its always Thai way not my way
infuates me and when i say something, i get the stupid grin with an unexplainable chuckle
Do what Thais do, just let it go ......
And thats the reason service is so bad. They don't /are afraid to complain. This face thing causes thais to put up with all kinds of problems instead of complaining.
Constructive criticism is unheard of.

they really think we are sheep with big wallets
this video is directed at very young (victims) tourists who think they will be saftey in numbers
somebody (at last) in goverment has realised that tourisim has taken a drastic down turn and for all TAT's saying to the contary the down turn is real
Thailand has to get its head out of its a/se, tourisim is slipping away and it has been to arrogant to see it
TAT and its projected figures
" a government attempt to counter reality with fiction" says it all.

yep your right !a better class of rubbish scripted by TAT who them selves are in cloud cokoo land
In fairness, the best bit of marketing done by TAT for years.
Cheesy, but a good effort.
Did people really believe 100 Thais would take to a beach with candles for free to find someone's bag?I agree, I actually think this is a good bit of marketing and refreshing change from the usual rubbish TAT puts out.
I don't think that TAT were trying to pull the wool over anyones eyes with this. I don't think they ever claimed it to be anything other than what it is and I don't think they were trying to pass it off as being 'real', so to speak.
If people watching it believed this video to be anything other than scripted, then more fool them!
In fact, it could be argued that it's been very successful as it's gained huge attention, the video has been watched more than 800,000 times on YouTube and had people talking about it on forums and throughout social media.
Sure it's cheesey but it's better than the 'Thainess' campaign and the other quickly forgotten marketing spiel they've put out in recent years.

ha ha ha bussiness practices BRIBE BRIBE BRIBE BRIBE MORE MORE MORE
This should of happened a long time ago. All these farangs taking money off hard working Thais!
Thailand has long been the country of innovation and self sustainability! Western nations should be grateful to be allowed to business at all in the Kingdom, they try to learn the Thai's business practices, customer service, law enforcement, in which all fields Thais lead the world.

RTP did not pay enough money to be number one on the list must be really miffed
This must anger the heads of the RTPF. Only 2nd !
I think, there is still some potential left in gains. Let us hope, the RTP makes it number one next year. If one would add the undocumented bribes resulting from cover ups of criminal cases, the RTP would be the number one already. Therefore the criteria to create those statistics must be changed, in order eliminate the unfairness of the evaluation of the RTP.

ha ha ha ha how can you report corruption to the corrupt police give me another one

K Police Finish Inquiry Over Koh Tao Murder
BANGKOK — The Scotland Yard has wrapped up its investigation into the murder of two British backpackers on Thailand's southern island of Koh Tao.
A representative of the British detective team met with Thailand’s chief of police today before leaving for the United Kingdom where he will brief the families of the two murder victims on the investigation.

Scotland Yard is damned good. They trade ideas with the US FBI which strengthens both of them. They are so much smarter than the Thais that I hope they found a smoking gun.
Is it a coincidence that it all happened on the same day?
Time will tell and I will hope.
My wife and I, both British, took 1 look at this photo.....
...and feel that the man from Scotland Yard is NOT impressed one bit. We'll have to wait until the new year to find out whether we're right or not.

from what i am reading it could end up that way (positions to be decieded later) ?????
You're all being far too cynical. It's obvious that the Royal Thai Police Operations Centre suddenly had a pressing and immediate need for two fine gentlemen of their calibre and the CIB was able to spare them.
Surely if there were anything dodgy involved they'd be moved to inactive postings.

i think that this one is far to big to go under the radar
I would question the word Coy, more like egg all over their face , it isn't the first time and looking at the RTP exceptional talent it won't be the last by along shot, the worrying prospect is that any new inquiry will only be able to use the evidence available, that might be not enough in the eye's of experts , so they will just muddle about and crap on as usual and still either arrive at the same conclusion or dither till everyone forgets about the case and it goes under the radar like quite a few do.

yep everyone should keep an axe in the loo just in case
take an axe to its head .job done

RTP still playing at being the centre of the world( and of coarse they are) for all the wrong reasons
if this gangster is so innocent then why don't they just give the UK police a sample to corrobrate their stance.
These tests mean absolutly FA
"So it is unnecessary to forward the DNA results to the British government because it had no doubt about the investigation being conducted by the Thai police, said Pol Lt Gen Prawut."
Anyone still believing in any of this BS??It would be nice of them to forward the results to the UK authorities so the British can compare the DNA to any samples they managed to collect from Hannah's body.
-
still hiding other wise if it really did prove innocence you would GLADLY give a sample to the UK police
