Reading the 'news clippings' i see that Bangkok transit is to phase out the busses
with no aircon,or maybe it's another way to get people onto rail transport

One would hope it's just teenage idiots pulling what they thought was a prank. Anything more serious and you would think a target that made a bigger statement would have been chosen.

I read recently on (i think) this forum,that the private (fallang) hospitals were seeing an
upsurge in western people coming to LOS for the treatments they need.
So i ask the question,is there room for 5* trained Chefs to work in these hospitals ?
Maybe the 'recovering' people would prefer some foods that would help them to get better
quicker, foods that they can 'identify' with.
Don't get me wrong i would eat Thai food everyday,but you get someone coming
out of surgery maybe they would like 'home cooked food' ?.
Yes i have been looking for work,but 'thai national' is what you get.
have seen (not often} Chefs from the 'world' posting here.but we get lost in the ether.

Actualy old boy,the OLD scotland yard was named scotland yard 'cos it was in
OLD scotland yard, & i think the powers that were thought that 'NEW'would ba good wheeze.

Any shop can add the thai language pack...so no worries there.
Took an NEC338 from UK to LOS for g/f,went to MBK they un-locked it
but couldnt load a thai language pack,VERY frustrating for Nung thai !!!

Gave my g/f a 3g NEC 338 from the UK got it un-locked no problem
she uses 1-2call paygo,but she can't txt me,don't know if it's the phone
or 1-2call,same sim in old phone was no problem(must be the phone DUH!!)
If anyone can help me (her)with tips on txting & picture msg-ing i would be
grateful.

I'm having an annoying problem trying to send SMS text messages to UK. I'm on 1-2-Call pre-pay and my intended recipients are both on Orange pre-pay in the UK. When I try to text either of these people they never receive the message, despite the fact that my phone tells me that the message has been sent successfully. Strangely, if they send texts to me I can receive them OK. This is not a problem with country pre-fixes etc. as I can make normal phone calls, using the same numbers, with no bother.
Any thoughts on this one?

In October i gave my g/f an NEC 338 which i brought from the UK,
i got it un-locked but unfortunatly it's all in eglit.
She is also with 1-2call but she can't txt to the UK,on her old crappy Nokia
there was no problem,also what's the story on picture messaging ditto ?

Radioactive (nuclear) radiation is a controversial, yet internationally accepted method to preserve foods, it kills germs and bacteria.
Since acceptable levels for human consumption are pretty low, it's easy to get it wrong, specially when administered and supervised manually. Also, if the surroundings during processing are not sterile, the object of the exercise may be defeated.
Then again, as mentioned before, EU- bureaucrats have a reputation for imposing absurd impractical standards.
Not only to kill bacteria,the pods & seeds in dried 'seasonings' are iradiated
to render them sterile so you can't grow them !! i believe this is an effort
by the 'agro' businesses to prevent people 'growing your own'.
Don't get me started on GM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(it's all related !)

Ok,i will kayak whitewater sometimes,but on the open sea in such a
changeable tide & questionable condition of the rented vehicle i think
it was mad.But God willing !!!!!!!!!!!!!?

Took a bus from BKK to Udon thani,broke down after about 2 hrs,
waited over 3 hrs for a replacement bus,right on the road (night time)
But really the only thing that REALLY pissed me off was the film,
upstairs we had no picture but we had sound,LOUD sound
for the WHOLE movie,must say good driver,but SLOW !!!!
