  1. From what I saw yesterday, when you were 2nd best all around the park and created nothing, I can't see you getting in to the CL. Start by axing your centre backs, who are too old and slow (Vertoghen is shocking these days - looks an effort for him to run), if you want a chance of getting in to the Europa League.
  2. Good entertaining game. Thought we were decent. Bernardo stood out for me. Lovely goal crafted by Mahrez and well taken by Jesus.
  3. Hey Ronnie what's that word you like to use, bwahaahhaa, no that's not it, it's bwahaahhaa... Christ, you're bringing me down to your level.
  4. The fizzy yellow and peach is for us colour-blind folks. Love it, seriously.
  5. Nice 2v4 win by our u18 kids over 2nd place liverpool. 9 points clear but Scousers have 2 games in hand.
  6. Correction. "16th appearance at Wembley in ten years, not including a league game against Tottenham".
  7. You've just described me watching Chelsea beating your lot...shambles.
  8. If you want to read an excellent review of the legal battle - that's known in the public domain (I.e. from published legal documents) - then get a cup of tea and take your time to read the following 2 articles written by a lawyer (who is a blue I would add). If anybody finds anything similar please post it. The CAS appeal document attached to the first article explains all. https://ninetythreetwenty.com/blog/seeing-the-wood-for-the-ffps-manchester-city-uefa-go-to-war/ https://ninetythreetwenty.com/blog/seeing-the-wood-for-the-ffps-part-deux-the-double-city-do-not-want/
  9. Thanks for giving me the incentive to post my earlier comments on t'other thread. Cheers.
  10. For the fans in the ground though it's not debatable is it. They hate the way it goes to VAR and they don't know what's going on and they virtually have to wait for the kick-off of a VAR disputed goal before they can break in to celebration. It's spoiling the moment, the enjoyment of a goal being scored and going mental for a few brief moments. Granted they have started putting up on the screen such as 'VAR Handball check' which is an improvement but in some ways you're better off these days being an armchair supporter than a paying punter as you get to see VAR being worked through. Why can't they show VAR being worked out on the screens in the ground - most likely because only 2 grounds in the Premier don't have screens to show it on...Old Trafford and Anfield, amazingly the homes of the two biggest clubs in England...go figure.
  11. Right you Muppets...After you've read those articles let's discuss.
  12. MrBj feel free to move my 3 posts above on the legal article to the recent thread on City being banned if you would prefer this thread to be about City's football and that about City's FFP.
  13. The CAS appeal document attached to the first article explains all.

  16. There's a he'll a lot in the media now and over the years talking about City's alleged wrongdoing but just regurgitating the same bile without ever getting to the nitty gritty and the facts of the matter. There's obviously the accounting aspect to this and the legal aspect. If you want to read an excellent review of the legal battle that's known in the public domain (I.e. from published legal documents) then get a cup of tea and take your time to read the following 2 articles written by a lawyer (who is a blue I would add). If anybody finds anything similar please post it. After you have read these 2 articles and the accompanying legal documents you will be a lot more knowledgeable on the case and will understand why based on legal arguements and precedents City believe CAS will ovreturn the ruling - me, I'm 50/50 but before I read it I thought we screwed.
  17. If Sterling was sold to Real would I be upset? Not at all. Liking the quotes coming out of Pep this week. He'll be getting a City 'banner' tattoo soon.
  18. I'm so not sure Soriano was offering an olive branch as such, but clarity. City have a problem with the way part of UEFA is administering FFP. City do not have a problem with the whole of UEFA.
  19. Think it's the 16th time in the Sheikh era so the novelty has worn off.
  20. In Manchester we call those flags; MrBj referred to banners.
  21. Chatting with my brother yesterday, long-term seasonticlet holder, and he told me he's not going to Sheffield Wednesday - can't afford it, too many games these days.
  22. Been trying to find out the attendance. Read 43k but can't verify it. Also read WHU sold 4k tickets but only 1k travelled. Nice to see you back chippy...you want to get back on ManU thread again; no point hiding cause things aren't going well.
  23. City squad seen in fine spirits and getting ready for next season's Champions League VID-20200221-WA0000.mp4
  24. They gave offside when he was onside. They missed Kun bring sexually assaulted. Muppets.
