Use an ordinary fan to direct the fumes out the nearest window, OR, buy relevant item from HomePro and replace it yourself. It's just an extractor fan and you are in Thailand- no need for qualified electrician.
Need more advice to DIY, ask on the DIY/ electrical subforum.
"Use an ordinary fan to direct the fumes out the nearest window...."
???? (I'm assuming that was a joke.)
"...OR, buy relevant item from HomePro and replace it yourself."
I would if I knew what "it" was.
"It's just an extractor fan and you are in Thailand- no need for qualified electrician."
What a strange statement. Like 'it's just abdominal pain and you are in Thailand - no need for a qualified health professional'.

Your guy seems to be very popular as he's not available until after the 20th this month and we can't do much ccoking until the extractor fan has been fixed so if there are any other suggestions from members that would be greatly appreciated.

I recently went through the Phuket one week sandbox and returned to Pattaya 10 days ago. I am here on a retirement extension and suddenly it occured to me that I might still be required to go to Jomtien and do the address reporting.
Is that still required? Also, will my 3 months reporting be required 3 months after my recent return to Thailand or must I go by the date given to me before leaving?

I need an electrician (OK, I know I won't get an actual electrician but someone who's doing electrical work) for some jobs in my house here in Pattaya. Recommendations would be most welcome.

A friend of mine had his Thailand Pass application rejected due to no date for the 1st dose. Is there a way around this or does he have to try getting another certificate with the date of the 1st dose?

3d verification has been down most of this morning. I have been having the same problem.
OK, so it's not only me. Was thinking it was my browser (Opera) but tried Chrome with the same result.

I have a laptop Asus Zenbook UX 305 which runs Win 10. I use a free* driver update program (Driver Booster) and recently it installed a new audio driver (Realtek something) that was very annoying (got a dashboard that wanted all kinds of input) so I deleted it. Now I'm not able to use earphones connected to the supplied jack, only via Bluetooth. Looking at the Device Manager it also looks like there is something missing for earphones. If anyone has any ideas about what I should do then please let me know.
* The Driver Booster program is very annoying and I can't get past the "Upgrade to Pro version" spiel so looking for alternatives.

The best breakfast: I find it at HOME. Backing my own bread, can buy everything I need to make a real good breakfast myself.
That's commendable but of little use to a guy that lives in a hotel for a week.

Can any local expats or frequent visitors suggest places that serve a good Western breakfast?
Thanks????

So I'm in Phuket/Patong for a week in the sandbox and would like to watch the games tonight. Which are the best footy pubs in the area please?

I mean the insurance certificate required for the CoE.
I have bought a separate Covid 100k $ insurance and have received a certificate so it looks like I should be OK for entry since according to Salerno's info the extra 400/40k requirement is not for Non O holders. I assume that's what I am classified as even though in the reentry permit stamp under "category" it says "Non-Imm."

Sounds like you already have the visa? If so, check your passport. Or are you intending to enter Thailand then convert to end up on a retirement extension?
Yes, I have the visa/extension (ret.) already and it's issued in Thailand.

That's for Non O-A not Non O.
Is the Non O-A issued outside Thailand and the plain O issued in Thailand? If that's the case then I guess I'll be OK.

Wrong question, you need the certificate. Just ask if they will issue the certificate.
You mean a certificate confirming I have a valid insurance with Aetna and cover limit? I have that as well as the insurance card with expiry date.

Did you ask Aetna if they will issue the required insurance certificate?
I have asked the agent I use for insurance policies if Aetna can upgrade my existing policy to include the required outpatient requirement. That's all I've done so far.

Thanks for all the helpful info.???? I have one follow-up question that I forgot to include in my OP and that is will I be asked for proof of additional (to the Covid 100k $) insurance when applying for the COE? I have an Aetna insurance that I renew on an annual basis but the plan I've chosen does not seem to cover the outpatient requirement.
Could anyone that has been through the Phuket sandbox with a long-stay visa (in my case Non-O ret.) please answer this? If they strictly check and enforce this I need to upgrade my existing Aetna insurance to cover the required 40k Baht in outpatient treatment.
-
Have another look at the requirementsfor COE application. It states it takes 3 working days to complete each of the two steps. The only 15 day requirement is a time-out limit.

I'm researching how to get through the Sandbox program and there are several issues I need to clarify.
1. When looking at the Covid test booking site they're requesting my Shaba ID. Is that some kind of number/code I get allocated when doing a SHA+ booking?
2. When I finally get to book Covid tests can I do the final test on day 6, one day before my departure from Pukhet?
3. Do I need to get some kind of official paper/certificate before leaving Phuket (will fly up to Bkk)?
4. When buying the Convid 100$ insurance is it enough to get insurance until your next flight out if you can show the booking or does it have to extend to the expiry of your permit to stay (in my case Non-O retirement)?
I would also like to know if there is a thread dedicated to the whole Sandbox program so that I don't start unnecessary threads.
Thanks in advance to anyone that might reply with some info.????

You can’t use google to find the contact details of loads of Taxi Companies based in Pattaya ?
https://www.pattaya-taxi-service.com
https://www.pimpattaya-taxi.com
https://www.daotaxipattaya.com
https://www.bosspattayataxi.com
I can find lots of companies whom are all desperate for business. That might be something that influences their answers.
Look, if all you want to do is give these snarky replies I suggest you go and alleviate your obvious boredom in another thread, thanks.

Thanks, I have brought items before to Numchai and also the basement shop in Tukcom but I just don't want to disassemble something I might not be able to assemble once reparied - I'm totally useless as a handyman.
