  1. Thank you very much, All my question have already been answered.
  2. Just to double check my second question. Can I leave and I re enter the country any time before the expiration date of the (re entry permit/extension of stay) expires with no regard to my original 90 day report. For example can I go away for 120 days and re enter with no problem. Just report after the next 90 days pass. I don't mean to be so anal but I have asked 5 different immigration officers about this and only receive blank stares.
  3. I am on a original type O visa with and extension to stay based on retirement. My extension valid to November 7 2024, After obtaining a single re entry permit, leaving the country and then returning on April 12 2024, I am still confused about how this process works in regards to my 90 day report. Before I left my 90 day report date was April 21 2024. In this case I returned before my 90 day report date was due. When I arrived at the airport I received a stamp under my re entry permit with my arrival date and the date of my extension renewal November 7 2024. What do I do now that I am back in the country about tm 30 and 90 day reporting. Do I immediately report to Hua Hin Immigration or wait until my original 90 day report was due. This is at the end of a five day immigration holiday so I would like to understand the process and avoid the office on Wednesday morning if I could My second question is when I have a valid re entry permit can leave and I re enter the country any time before the expiration date of the (re entry permit/extension of stay) expires with no regard to my original 90 day report. For example can I go away for 120 days and re enter with no problem. Does the 90 days reset on the day I arrive back in Thailand. Thank you Question number
  4. Just to re check, Dr Jack does the latter "End of current permission of stay " refer to the end date of my yearly stamp in passport. The yearly extension based on retirement I get once a year. Thanks
  5. Can someone please tell me what date to fill in under "stay visa required" ? is this the date on my 90 day report stapled to the back of my passport or is it the date of the end off my yearly extension based on retirement. I see where on the bottom stamp of my yearly extension it mentions to keep my "stay permit" re entry permit must be made before leaving Thailand. Is stay permit somehow suppose to mean "stay Visa"? Thank You

  7. Very Dry our water reservoirs at about 29% after last rainy season.
  8. I do the same thing with to Bank of Ayutthaya, call Schwab with amount, standing order on file to aprove transfers. The money is there by next morning with no charge from schwab small fee Thai bank.
  9. I purchased a Rs with a sunroof and hated it, most uncomfortable seats I have ever had and I am a driver by trade. Within 5 months I sold it and never been so happy to lose 3,000 dollars. The car runs, drives, accelerates, and handles perfectly. But, for me. The sunroof takes up way to much head room and the seats are so small and tight I never got a comfortable seat position even after having them modified twice by cutting down the sides and widening them. I was shifting my seating position 5 times before I even got out of the drive way. I had a 2002 Honda city before that and now have a 2017 Honda jazz with no seat complaints. Just be forewarned that some people have major problems with seat comfort in the hrv. Good Luck in whatever you decide
  10. Schwab international wire transfer are free from Schwab with a small charge from the Thai Bank. It takes a couple days Wire dollars from Your end and it will be converted based on or about Bangkok Banks TT rate,
  11. I live in hua Hin and since covid we almost never see any police anywhere. A sighting is so infrequent we notice and comment on it.
  12. Hua Hin has very few trash cans around unlike Pranburi with an abundance of cans all over the town. Also many areas in town are impromptu dumping sites infested with the many street dogs ripping the cans and garbage apart never to be picked up. I like living in Hua Hin for my sons school, the two malls and easy access to Pranbury parks and beaches. Town parks, public spaces, and basic public services ( garbage, road repair, ect,) in Hua Hin are sorely lacking. My advice is get used to it, or move on. It aint changing any time soon.
  13. No love for monkeys. Love to see people shooting anyting at them in Prachuap or Hua hin.
