All you need to do is sign up form SSA-1199-OP 107 Direct deposit sign-up form(Thailand) and send it to manila and SSA will direct deposit to your bank in thailand no fees to pay. that is what I did never have any problem.see attachment of the form(3 pages). good luck brother. cw is a very peculiar with ink color and to solve that problem by having two color pen with me and will sign all neccessary documents in front of the officer and their requested color at the end of the day is for my own benefit and always worked for me. i am been in thailand for 32 years and doing my extension to stay for 14 years never have a problem. good luck guys

1st week of january did my Extension at CW. forms can be print out from previous records just need to change the date on the form, what is important is your signature must be in blue ink and your handwriting, not copy or paste. good luck brother.

go to BBank where you opened the account with your bank book and 500 bht in tell the teller you want to deposit 500, you don't need passport for this in one second you will find out the status of your account....... if she/he accept the money she will give you a deposit receipt that you have to sign and she will update your book and wala!!!!!!!!!!! your ok. go home a happy camper check your book balance......... Or go to the machine and try to update your book see whats happen.......easy be cool good luck brother.

I did my extension this week and a Covid 19 Screening form needs to be fill and presented at entrance to the building. Iam fully vaccinated and they just take the form no question ask or verification. did not see anybody doing any testing or asking for a COV (Certification of vaccination). just open an account at Bangkok Bank with an affidavit from the US Embassy. all you need to do is to print out the affidavit form fill it up with all your information and once you get an appointment to go to the Embassy and go to the window with your US Passport and the officer will ask you the porpoise and to open a new Bank Account under oat he will sign and stamped. It will cost you $50. This document is enough to open an account at the Bangkok Bank. This is my recollection of what I did 2 weeks ago to get an affidavit at the US Embassy in Bangkok. To answer your question is NO you don't need to show any documents. You can download the form from the US Embassy site and filled up yourself and get an appointment to go to the Embassy(good luck with that it took me 2.5 months to get my appointment because of the pandemic there given only 2 appointments per day).The affidavit is a sworn document you can prepare yourself with what is for and all your personal information and give to the officer at the window and you will have to take an oath in front of him that everything in that paper is correct an true and then he will sign and stamp.
