  1. Just a minute before reading the OP I was reading a Plymouth (UK) paper. A dog had been found with it's throat cut out, leg broken etc etc. So as you say, it happens elsewhere.
  2. All these years I've been going to LOS and I didn't know it was in the winter!
  3. When I book my ticket for LOS with Air France, I have to show my passport at the same time. Otherwise, no ticket. So they certainly know my nationality.

  14. No. It's Are you English? As though it's the only English speaking country. When the answer is a terse No, we then go around the British Isles.

  16. I have had this one day biz about 3 or 4 times. Never had to pay. They just puta comment under the stamp in my passport. I once was going to Penang by train and I was 2 days late and I had to pay the 1000 baht. It was rather funny, at the same time there was a group of English girls, who had forgotten the date and were almost a week over. They were all rather gorgeous, laughing etc. The Imm boys took it all in fun too and just made them pay the amount due i.e.the train was held up because of all this.
  17. I don't know why you are all scoffing. I think that it is a VERY profound statement. In fact, it is a brilliant example of what most politicians feed us.
  18. A couple of minutes before I started this OP I was reading a Plymouth (UK)paper. There was an article about 25% of women who can no longer afford sanitary products.
