  1. Price much better for vitamins at Iherb than in Thailand ( for example ever try to find high levels of vitamin d3 in Thailand ? Almost all are deficient in this one except maybe those that live at the beach or farmers . So many great brands and vitamins at IHerb with dosages that are helpful compared to the really awful selection here that is so expensive . Now that IHerb has cheap shipping if order is under 50 bucks no duty and most times postage under 5 bucks . Hard to imagine anyone could browse their website compare what's available here and not see the amazing opportunity that awaits . Thank you IHerb made another order last night and ordered things almost impossible to get here and got prices that are impossible to get here ( don't believe me go to their site or app and investigate for yourself ?

  2. When I went at 9:30 in the morning it was packed . I never seen so many people there before . The whole office has been rearranged to accommodate more people and it does . Let me say the four people working at the retirement visa desk are incredibly helpful , fast and efficient . I can not imagine any other office or officers any more capable than this . Wow , they really are to be complemented on their performance and how well they deal with such crowds and attitudes . The whole office is amazing and hard to believe . For all working there to remain so cool and calm when so many patrons that are rude and disrespectful is something to behold. There are many that come in and are patient and kind but I saw many who were in big hurry and disrespectful to those working there but it did not seem to dampen the helpful attitudes of those working there . I am very grateful for all the help there and the very helpful office next door that does photos and copying that are really knowledgeable about anything you need to accomplish .[emoji120]

  3. Planing on going to Jomtien office in the morning ( 5th of March Thursday ) and hope there are no surprises or holidays for the office ? Will report back here and post my experience so others can get idea of the waits and situation there . Thanks for all the replies here and hope I can pick up passport same day if I file early enough in the day . Last year filed papers and paid in the morning and got passport back all stamped before end of the day and the office was extremely efficient .

  4. How Early Can I Renew My Retirement Visa in 2015 . I know in years before it can be done as early as 30 days from due date . Last time I did this in Jomtien they said it was good to do before due date . If my April 2 2015 ( due date in passport ) is renewal date can I apply on the 2nd of March ? I ask because my 90 day check in on March 3 and would be nice to do all on same day ( not do 90 day on the 3rd and have to go back on April 2 to renew retirement visa . I looked at older post on this forum as not to post redundant thread but only found one saying 30 days before was allowed but that thread where this information was given was from 2011 . Thanks in advance for any help [emoji120]

  5. I have slow juicer ( runs at only 40 rpm's to preserve vitamins and not oxidize the juice from a fast spinning auger ) for sale like new in box with warranty and it's only few months old . Bought it for my girlfriend but she does not make time to use it . Looked at putting it in classified ads here but did not see appliances . I use mine all the time ( I bought her same one I have ) from Verasu and the help and service they give is second to none . I make Khlong Toei market a weekly stop now I am juicing and this market changed much for me , anyone with juicer owes it to themselves to visit this wonderful resource !

Make sure to purchase a ceramic knife if you buy juicer as that makes cutting produce so much easier and efficient. I will give the one I bought for her to the person who buys this juicer she never opened the box to the ceramic knife . PM me if anyone is interested and make offer .

  6. Seems someone selling these at one of the farmers markets like one at K Village would be great place . Do not understand why I can not just go and buy these so I can use in the coconut kefir I make daily ? Seems strange to have to call and meet up with someone why is on this forum or eBay ? You can buy so many things at farmers market like this and health food stores why is this product so elusive ❓

  7. Real thought possibly you have about failure rate but if you look at this exciting field you will see a new generation of implant that has success rate that is near 100% unless your a smoker . The last year has been like the last 20 in innovation also with grafting . This company now takes the lead with sla technology on zirconium . Amazing Amazing Amazing

  8. "As far as I know that figure relates to success at the time of implantation, not to some later failure rate to which I think the other poster was referring"

Nope , that is at the five year point and most failures happen within the first year especially in smokers . In Bangkok you can even arrange to have the professors / oral surgeons who teach or have taught many of the ones who are doing them now . These guys have long time experience trumping even those in the states . The one at BIDC has done over 5000 in his career and has a 97% success rate at 5 years and will not do work in those that smoke as he wants his success rate to stay high .

  9. " Inplants are much more likely to fail down the road "

    ???

About 98.3 % success rate unless your a smoker . I would rather have white zerconium implant that is fused in a healthy way directly to bone strong and secure than a dead body part kept in my heard . No place else in body would medicine leave a dead body part in body that is open door to many unwanted bacteria and inflammation causing elements but as they say here " up to you "

  10. Are Dr's like Dr. Mercola quacks or just ahead of their time ? There was a time in history when lobotomy and leaches were thought to be cures we now know much more . Possibly medicine still has things they not know ? I know little but keep and open I don't know mind and keep investigating . Thanks for letting me share

Personally if I was told I needed a root canal and told to keep a dead body part in my body I would opt to pull tooth and put zirconium implant in but again I know little but will keep investigating

PC: “A dean of Harvard Medical School in the 1940s,Sidney Burwell, famously said… to the fourth years, ‘You’re graduating now, but the problem is 50% of what we’ve taught you is wrong. But what’s even more concerning than that–I don’t even know which 50% it is.’ So my students tell me that the slow medicine approach is like trying every day to try to figure out what is that 50% that we got wrong, and getting it right tomorrow.”
