  1. Some are yes. Even your domestic animals like cats and dogs can become insulin diabetic. I am a Type 2 Diabetic and have been on daily doses of Insulin since 2003.
  2. Eat healthy, eat only vegetarian food, yea right. Have you noticed how heavy a Cape Buffalo, African Elephant and a Hippopotamus are? Right, they only eat grasses and leaves. Eat vegetarian my .... .
  3. One of my friends saw his doctor the other day and he had to tell her that one of his concerns was that when he looked down at his feet, he could not see his little fella. She looked at him and said, " Diet". His reply was great, he asked her what colour she thought would look good?
  4. Aye being a Scot myself and having worn a kilt since the age of 7, there are two things that need clarification. 1. The cold winds do not blow up under the kilt, that's why we wear them to keep warm. Sometimes we wish we had a cooling breeze. 2. Whats worn under the kilt, my answers are either, if a good young lass asks, I normally say, Mam give me your hand? If a man asks, my answer is, lipstick of course. Lastly, as the true Scots say, 'Tis nae the length nor the breadth that counts, but the squirt.
  5. Hi I cant answer that question as I have never been to Pattaya. Maybe another poster here can answer that question. I have mine done overseas.
  6. The only way to safely fill in your frown and laugh lines is to use a medical proven wrinkle filler. I don't think that I am allowed to post a link here, but the product name is called Restylane. Pop that into your browser search engine and you can read all about it. The results are still visible up to a year later, but just become more aware of trying not to frown too much or screw up your eyes half closed. You can always top-up lines that start reappearing after a year, but you wont need as many fillings as when you first started. I personally have used this product since 1990 and I am still very happy with the results. I am over 60 years young. Don't go for cheap products, because the results you get will look like cheap shots and or cause irreversible damage to the face and or underlying tissue. Get this procedure done by a doctor who specialises in reconstructive and plastic surgery or a skin specialist, in a reputable hospital.
  7. If you ask ChatGPT for lottery numbers, you would not get any numbers as it is a language learning computor, not one that can predict the future. I think the Thai man is breathing in one too many PM2.5 particles.
  8. The only black I can see are the words to the song by Black Sabbath ~ War Pigs. Only sayin' ya all.
  9. Check the date of the original article in TPBSW, 1 April 2023. Fools.
  10. Some very short memories on this island. The Kuwaiti guy who died after his bungee cords came off his ankles in 28 May 2015 in Patong? He hit the ground and well.... made a mess, even the press were not allowed into the park. Also remember the many many tourists that fall off buildings and condo's on this island. Safety is a word never uttered here, only mumbled very quietly at press conferences.
  11. W Beam is known as an ARMCO Barrier in the rest of the world, duh.
  12. Lord of War also a good movie at that time. Filmed next door to my farm. Great cast and crew. Lots of fun and seriousness behind the scenes with the airplane landing scene, locals stealing stuff off the plane, laptops going missing, then the beeeg problem with the AK 47's and others used on set.
  13. I have gone back to watching most of the old spaghetti westerns with Charles Bronson, Clint Eastwood and John Wayne. 1970's stuff and also Bud Spencer and Trerrence Hill movies for some humour. Then lately I watched Run Silent, Run Deep is a 1958 American black-and-white war film with Clark Gable, Burt Lancaster, Jack Warden and Brad Dexter. and war films up to all documentaries on the South African Border wars and certain units. So pretty varied viewing.
  14. Hello. I need to renew my drivers licenses for car and motorcycle in Phuket, ( EXP end of AUGUST 2021) and seem to be getting lots of mixed answers on how to go about it, forms needed etc? Spoken English language also seems to have diminished due to Covid 19. It was six years ago since I renewed my last licenses, but Covid 19 has now become an excuse for everything. Can anybody just supply a list of documents they need, when to go to DLT and how much money I need to take with me please? Thank you very much.
