Anyone know of a place on Phuket where there is a covid-19 pcr test with quick turnaround? Vachira, siriroj etc are all 24 hours, I would prefer a faster one.

I get tired of people referring to the PCR Test as being an actual virus specific test. It is not. There is NO such test. A PCR Test merely indicates corona virus antibodies NOT a virus. Pretty much everyone on the planet will have corona virus ANTIBODIES hence the high numbers in countries that are using the PCR Test enmasse!!!

When will this DDC wake up and stop their stupid remarks about people less wearing masks. For over 5 months there has been no new covid, only quarantine people or where there before. THERE IS NO COVID IN THAILAND FOR MONTHS. So dont start comparing us with USA or Europe.

Start thinking of the recovery of economy which is the worst from total Asia and government does zero, only filling their own pockets more and more. And keeping THB extremely strong so more and more big large companies close their factories here totaly and move to Vietnam.

Millions of Thai people lost their jobs, no income no money no food.

Open the borders urgently with ALL risk free countries. Many have zero or close to zero new cases for many many months

No COVID19 in Thailand. That's funny!!! Of course it is here. The Thai Government simply have a different agenda to say the US, UK. The agenda here is "There is no CV19 in Thailand"

Excellent news. The mask wearing, at this point is tiresome and inane. There is NO COVID in Thailand. So, why all the paranoia? I get wearing a mask in the US, or Europe. But here? Seems excessive, paranoid and based on fear mongering.

No COVID in Thailand. Now that's funny. Of course it is here. It is simply that the Thai Government have a different agenda to say the US, UK or Australia, wvere if you fart, you have CV19.

Did you hear about the RSV Virus that is currently here. It has weirdly similar symptoms and target groups to CV19. As l said different agenda.

So that would mean that it would never go away and with every new mutation, a new vaccine would have to be made .

Will the aeroplanes ever  start flying again ?

The fear will be made to fade away, the same as it came. I do not know whether the vax will become annual or, not. That does not matter because the people will have been taught to accept it anyway!!!

If Corvid is similar to the flu, which mutates and comes back in a different form every year and people need yearly flu jabs for immunization, wouldnt that render a Covid vaccination to be ineffective ?

If, it mutates, as it supposedly has, then YES, you're gonna be jabbed more than once.

    Even Gates, has stated this!!!

How much money is this going to be made for the WEF Members??? ????

No problem whatsoever. If anybody refuses to take a vaccine that is their personal decision. However, everybody who choses to take a vaccine gets issued with a photo ID card by a hospital. This proof-of-vaccination card is then used like a drivers license ID card to get into various premises.  No card, no admittance to pubs/clubs, theaters, sports stadiums, concerts. No card, no getting on planes. The cards/proof of vaccination will also be required by most country's immigration. They will also no doubt become a requirement when applying for a job. So in many instances: No card, no work.

So, you are suggesting MANDATORY vaccinations.

Doddery and just more of the same. What America needs is young, forward thinking blood, not some old croon in the hotseat. He'll struggle on C19 lest he would upset the populace by completely locking down. I'll be a fan if he takes climate seriously, ups funds for NASA, takes on China, doesn't fawn over EU.

Isn't that what Trump was doing. Taking on Corporate run Chinese Puppet regime. Did he not also try to bring manufacturing back home. Now, that upset the Corporate overlords a tad!!!

I wouldn't want to be taught English by an Australian or Southern State American I can hardly understand. Apart from that being a NES doesn't make you a teacher. You need to have a proper command as well as knowledge of the language as well as an exceptional vocabulary. Plus ideally a teachers certification or BE. Not really what these begpacker "teachers" recruited at Khao San Road bring to the table but hey at least they have an Australian/Canadian/US passport. ????

Sorry, but many cannot understand the thick accents of those from the north of England, not to mention lreland or' Scotland. So, to say that an Australian accent is not acceptable is ridiculous. Maybe you are a Brit thus, you can understand them..... Other people cannot!!!

When they enforced the "must have a degree" in anything to teach (for a work permit), they greatly reduced their access to good teachers. To compensate for low applications many dropped the requirement, must of an English language teaching certificate and relied only on a degree in anything. So getting teachers without qualifications. Our kids go to good schools in a big city and the teachers they have teaching English are at best a 5 out of 10.

I have to admit, l do not have a degree. However, l have taught English in Thailand and China for the last 9 years, under the radar so to speak. I have glowing references from both countries. Teaching young learners, secondary, and university students.

Unfortunately, at the present time, l cannot find work due to not having a degree in basket weaving. Even considering my actual ESL experience, I am unable to get approval from the Thai Teacher Council.

Yes it was very smoothly handled. Trump was so cool about it, didn't even raise an eyebrow. Well done all, and hope they catch the shooter. Why do they keep resorting to violence? They will have a chance in November to change the President in an election.

And if, he wins the election. He's another JFK. Didn't he try draining the swamp too???
