  1. I till recently had delivery from North Thailand of frozen/chilled 2L jugs of of raw goat milk and kefir (Facebook ad) but currently no supply, so am looking for an alternative to order same online from anywhere. Does anybody know where I can get raw goat (or cow) diary products? (I found a very old archived thread here about it, but it was all outdated). I am Bangkok based but am willing to pay for cold shipping from anywhere.

  2. I have yet to find a quality multiple locally here, and still order from Iherb and Vitacost (have great synergy series) even if sometimes gets caught in customs. Rather random as I keep purchase under $50 but SOMETIMES they add the shipping, and other times they do not - and most times it just sails straight through. PipingRock is good too, but their multiples are not up to the NOW Adam multi the OP requested.

  3. I am aware that AIS (and others sell 1 year pre-paid Simcards/plans. Example from Lazada below:

    https://www.lazada.co.th/products/ais-ais-the-one-sim-ais-marathon-ais-15mbps-1-100gb-1-a-lot-i1395498609-s3566684413.html?freeshipping=1&search=1&spm=a2o4m.searchlist.list.i40.3e313892vVpBeD

This is much cheaper for most of us living here - but can it be added or changed from to a plan/number I already have? Why do I see the options NOWHERE on their homepage OR in MyAIS on my phone? Why does it need to be bought from re-sellers like Lazada and Shopee Etc.? 1400 Baht for a year is a bargain (Incl. some free calling Etc.) compared to the 400 Baht or so I pay per month currently.

Anyone that can answer some of my questions?

  4. I just checked todays rates. You bought at what corresponds to USD 44k/BTC and as I type this it is a USD 41k/BTC so not much has changed (down 7% or so).

I am also in BTC and other coins, and wish you the best of luck. Consider putting your BTC with one of the platforms that pay interest for your BTC. THat can help off-set some of the downside, or boost profits. Like Youhodler, Nexo Etc. Cheers!

  5. Same here. 2 products but from same seller in China. Took a month or so for 1 to arrive, and then that same email as OP received. I presume seller was out of stock to not send 2, and now package stuck at some key border point OR the seller just have not re-stocked and send the 2nd product yet - but updated the system that it is shipped. That then leads to auto email about "closed border points" from Lazada.

Only a proof of being fully vaccinated or a recent ATK test done and a completed form is needed to enter the building.

Nothing related to covid 19 is required when you apply for a extension of stay.

Thank you. I presume the mentioned form to fill out is at the entrance then? Also: then I presume one can not just do own ATK test and bring proof/photo, but it needs to be at a clinic/hospital before? How recent?

(My vax status expired as missed booster - so not fully vaxed yet so looking at above options)

  7. Last year I went to Chang Wattana for my annual visa renewal and only covid related extras was the sign-in and temperature test at the building entrance. I hear that got tightened up, and that they requested more for a while - but that might well have changed again by now? Can anybody update me on what they were requested with regards to covid. Be that at the building entrance and/or at the actual (annual non-o in my case - but presume same) visa extension desk. Cheers!

If an item is subject to import duty the courier companies will always apply it, they are contracted to do so on behalf of the Customs Dept and they only apply it at official Customs rates.

Thailand Post charges are applied less frequently because not every postal item gets selected for examination but the import duty rates are exactly the same as charged by couriers because the rates are set by the Customs Dept.   Thailand Post does not set the rates as can be seen by the appeals procedure if the duty is disputed, the appeal goes to the Customs Dept.

You are both right. Yes, DHL Etc. will (almost) always charge, and they will add a much higher handling/service fee - so that is where the difference lies. Taxes are the same (and can ofcourse be disputed should they not match the customs tax book that no one would ever want to try to read ????). Cheers~

My experience is that most any computer problem that can be fixed, can be fixed by one of the vendors at Fortune Town IT mall. If you've gone that route without success, then I would say it's time for a new laptop. Many of the new computers have fast processors, loads of memory and SSD drives. You'll be a happy camper.

I do know how you feel about your old laptop. I use to have a hardshell Samsonite suitcase that I loved. I traveled all over the world with it on business trips. But the airline baggage handlers destroyed the wheels on it. I took it to a Samsonite dealer to have it repaired. The dealer took one look at it and laughed ...

My computer is fine and not much more than a year old - just some cosmetic scratches I would like sorted. Was surprised not to easily find a place doing skins/stickers Etc. at Fortune despite asking around. Almost certain I have seen it there before. Seems to be an obvious business.

As for the Lazada one would have to install and in some cases even CUT it oneself, which will become at cheap looking mess quite quickly with air bubbles, dust, folds Etc.

    Cheers!
