Ireland isnt schengen.. An Irish tourist visa doesnt allow mainland EU travel or vice versa.
Are you sure about UK visit visa allowing Irish access ?? Other obviously than northern ireland.Apologies yes just checked. Republic of Ireland is not a Schengan country because of the existence of the Common Travel Area CTA agreement with the UK. Meaninh anyone with a UK visit visa can also use this to visit the Republic of Ireland.

Don’t disagree, but sometimes it is the luck of the draw. The only consistency is their inconsistency at times at Jomtien.I did my extension, October last year, same address for a few years, TM30 done online after returning from overseas, still had to go to the outside counter and do a new TM30 before they would accept my application.
Had 2 friends do 30 day extensions from visa exempt entries in January. All done through an agent, just turn up for picture, 5 minutes and 4000 baht, but agent wanted a copy of TM30 from hotel.
No right or wrong, as the goal posts move so often. 55555
I leave and return to Thailand to the same address with a Retirement extension/re entry permit once a year. I never do a new TM30, my last one was 2017. A guy down the gym did a 30 day extension of his visa exempt entry last month. His TM30 is 3 years old, no mention ofa new one.

Same for everyone nowadays....started 3/4 months ago....more BS
I don't know why people keep saying this. If you get a new passport, go to immigration, fill out the form and have the extension stamps transferred to the new passport. As long as this is done, immigration have your new passport on record. You can then do the 90 day report online as normal. Jomtien immigration. I did my first report online last December and this week I did my 2nd. Reported online at 14.30 and approval was back 08 30 the next day.

Just go onto Lazada and buy a DTV box and an outdoor antenna. That's all you need, very basic set up

The Pattaya expat website says if you return from overseas Jomtien, require a new TM30, regardless of situation.
Well The Pattaya Expats website is wrong. There is no need to do a new TM30 after leaving and returning to the same address. I entered with a new passport, transferred the retirement stamps over to new passport and have since done 2 90 day reports online including the first one with a new passport. No mention of a new TM30 at any stage. A chap down the gym has just extended his 30 day visa exempt entry and again no mention of a new TM30. Yes this is Jomtien immigration.

Just a reminder, Soi 5 will be one way starting (possibly) March 1st, from Jomtien 2nd Rd down to Beach Rd. Then you will be forced right at junction with Beach Rd, as Beach Rd will be one way from Chaiyapreuk all the way to Dong Tan police box.
Incorrect, you will be forced left not right at beach road. Most Thai's on bikes will of course ignore this.

You are lucky. I manage to get about 8 hours sleep but I wake up about 5 or 6 times in that period with a very dry throat. I normally manage to get back to sleep but I have not slept through now for years. I am 67 years old

Same here, I arrived back in Thailand in October with a new passport and then got the visa stamps transferred immediately, free of charge in Jomtien and very simple. I was buying a new car so needed to get the passport in the system straight away. The TM30 was the old one from 2 years ago, I asked and there was no need to update it, and that was also fine to get the residence permit to buy a new car and to do the annual retirement extension in December. I did the first 90-day with the new passport online in January. Probably not surprisingly, I entered my name and new passport number and clicked the auto-fill widget but nothing happened, so I just filled it in by hand and submitted it. It had been approved the next morning when I checked. I'm pretty sure that the autofill widget will work for my next online 90-day report in April now I've resubmitted my personal data with the new passport number. All in all, very efficient service from Jomtien Immigration and the online reporting app.
Exactly the same with me. Despite many posts by people who don't know, Jomtien is very efficient. For me stamps transferred over in October to new passport, no new TM30 required and 90 days completed online with new passport in December.

They are owned by Thai Watsadu. Just go there instead. One on the Suk towards Na Jomtien.

I said a different bike turns up, simple for most, not those with learning difficulties, hopefully people realise theres more than one motorbike in Thailand
The issue is yours. You didn't say a different bike turned up then the one you expected. You just said a different bike turned up. As Bolt have many bikes I would expect a different bike to turn up. So rather than posting rude insulting replies you should look at the reason for my comment in the first place, that was your unclear first post.

A different bike to that quoted, you don't think that's an issue at all?
Your post did not say that, that's why it's confusing

What a load of bull manure. As already said 1,000's of Thai's go to South Korea with the sole intention of not coming back, overstaying their visa and working illegally on the fruit farms. My wife's sister is there for 3 years already. Her brother wanted to go but got rejected. There are even Thai organisations that organise these illegal trips and take them to Vietnam first for a week just to get a visa stamp and a travel history.
No way it is racism, its just a click bait headline.

You havr have the correct answer, but a question to you. Why do you need an Irish visa, that is covered by a Shengan visa. Also if your wife has a UK visa, this also allows entry to Ireland.

But amidst the drama, Thailand’s tourism industry continues to navigate the pandemic’s aftermath, with locals and expats seizing the opportunity to explore deserted resorts as international travel remains restricted.
Who writes this rubbish.

In the past I have use Bumrungrad business office but they now charge 600 baht. (No need to insult me for not just paying the 600 baht
I know one that does it for 599 baht, if this helps. Suggest also you change your attitude, being a bit defensive in your comments when asking for help is not the way to go.

I don't know why people post the same question over and over again. It's a 90 day report of being in Thailand, if you leave before 90 days, that's it do nothing. When you re enter its day 1 again. Get it now? Probably not, the same question will pop up again next week.

I was interested in quick service. Pattaya International was quick.
this man did not know about 'any clinic'.
lived in Pattaya for 18 years-only ever used private hospitals .
Very infrequently
I submitted this post to help others -not to attract comments like yours
Posted to help others but made yourself look stupid in the process. There are loads of walk in clinics in Pattaya for 100 or 150 baht that give a 10 minute service, most don't even examine you. The fact you paid 1100 baht is laughable.

3. 1st time in person on new passport than onlinePeople like you say this but I entered with my new and old passport with a re entry permit in my old passport, in late September. I changed the retirement extension stamps over at immigration in October. My 90 day report was successfully completed online using my new passport details when it was due in December. No mention of completing a new TM30 either. Jomtien immigration.

I was told the same thing the last time mine was rejected after returning from overseas, first 90 day after return must be done in person, then from that point on you can do it online.
Not at all offices. I always do mine online after being in the UK for 4 months. Jomtien office.

Not at every office. I had mine approved in December with a new passport online. As long as you have previously visited and had your extension stamps transferred to new passport. Jomtien office.

Similar thing with Makro delivery. I was expecting 3kg of steak mince to be delivered in a 4 hour time slot. Towards the end of the timeslot I checked the tracking and it said delivered. Angry thinking that the delivery had gone astry I had the wife call customer service to chase the order. No call back but 2 hours after the 4 hour slot the delivery arrived. The driver was stressed because we had chased the order. We told him that he should not say its delivered just to make his timeslot. A simple call would have stopped this nonsense.

Foreign man kicks up a storm over discriminatory bike rental policy in Phuket

This is common policy in Thailand. My wife's Thai friend visited from Sweden. They drove around all afternoon trying to rent a motorbike in Pattaya. "Farang only" was the answer everywhere.
