  1. If you think the article doesn't say police asked her to sign an urgent document, and had she signed it, charges would have been reduced, then you need to read the article again, because it does say that.
  2. Agreed. This guy desperately needs to be humbled, and taken down several pegs. But it seems the reclarification of charges she was asked to sign were more fitting for the crime.
  3. The police told her she had to sign an urgent document, which she comes to realise would have reduced the severity of the charges had she signed it. I think that is the part she is assuming is part of a bribe.
  4. Surely it must be quite an ordeal to swallow and then walk around with that lot inside you. Though the exist stage is probably quite a thrill.
  5. In exchange for a 90-day visa-waiver entry for UK, I'm all for it. The issue is, when UK people are caught overstaying in Thailand, they just get deported without hassle. When the UK try to deport illegals, the whacky lefties step in and make it difficult for the government to enforce its own rules.
  6. Nothing wrong with Suvarnabhumi, in fact, I'd say it's up there among the least confusing, easiest and quickest to find your way around airports I've been to. Though, immigration queues can be a pain at times.
  7. Order a Thai ice tea without specifying low/no sugar, and you will get an utterly unpalatable 50% sugar beverage.
  8. 200k in Thai baht, he'd obviously scammed other exchange windows.
  9. So her Swiss husband died and that's where she got the money?
  10. Maybe the bear is doing time for bad behavior, now we clearly see why.
  11. When you stay in a hotel by the month, the standard housekeeping schedule is once per week, unless you request otherwise.
  12. Many "digital nomads" do get a second passport if they're able to. They also often have 2 phones. 1 for banking and 2FA, which is kept safely at home/hotel, and one with a local sim for carrying around.
  13. Wasn't one of the victims in critical condition, any update on how he's doing?
  14. This 90-days for Russians was proposed before the 90-day for other nations also, so maybe the 90-days for others will happen later.
  15. Guaranteed he wasn't attacked for no reason. He's asked for it.
  16. His name is John, I don't know his surname and I don't know where he lives, I just always bumped into him in 7/11.
  17. The last time this was mentioned, I thought they were going to tack it on to airline fees. A bleeding kiosk? That will be a guaranteed <deleted>show.
  18. Statistically, the partnerships with the most domestic violence are lesbian relationships.
  19. Homosexuality is illegal in the UAE, yet it's a very popular destination Thai ladyboys go to ply their trade. You don't have to look very far to find ladyboys in UAE. And the ladyboys have to travel as men to get through immigration, they'll be turned away if they try to enter in their normal female clobber. But it seems that once they're there, it's all good. Everyone just pretends it's not gay, and that it was just a massage.
