Same thing happened to a Saudi L-1011. A stove in the back started a fire but the aircraft was landing. They found something like 20 bodies in the cockpit who had been trying to avoid the fire. The crew had killed the electric so the automatic doors would not open. The cockpit has two ropes you can go out the side sliding windows but the crew were to stupid to use them.
The training department for every/any Airline should have detected the idiots with the fake licenses. In the states a written test with 80% passing grade or do over, fail again you are fired. Flight Checks maybe one do over if you fail and then you are fired if you can not preform.
At least that is the way it used to be done.... Maybe now they just give participation ribbons to anyone who shows up ??

Go to youtube and find someone you like and understand; there are many free language courses there to experience. Then if you learn just one phrase a week within a short time you will be able to converse in everyday social language.. I would learn to speak conversational Thai first and then tackle the written word but that is just my opinion..
This group seems to do a good job and are funny to listen to

China has threaten a new cold war... Bring it Bubba. I am glad people are finally waking up to the fact that China will run over you and only look to see if you are dead so they can check to see if you have anything in your pockets they can steal.
I do wonder what the democrat Coup Clutz Clan (Pelosi, Schiff, Biden etc etc) and all the others who have profited from their under the table relationships with the CCP/PLA will have to say about any meaningful blocking of China ?
As far as a fighting war, China said they would be on military parity before 2030 with the USA.. That was during the Obama years which might need to be re-figured now that Trump is building back up our military..
The problem I see is China's manufacturing capabilities really are awesome and they get allot more bang for the buck than we do with our blood sucking over priced made in the USA military hardware that takes years to develop and years to fix the bugs.Also as many in Asia already know China is not stingy when shower politicians with money so that China can get their foot in the door for a particular deal.

Since tourist can disappear quickly especially if they are Chinese and you <deleted> the CCP off over something trivial I think now would be a good time to try and speak with companies who are leaving China to look at Thailand instead of Vietnam. Tourism does not promote an educated work force where manufacturing and marketing does.
As far as I am concerned if you walk with the devil (China) long enough he will try to steal your soul.. I hate to see Thailand turn into a mini me CCP/PLA because once they have their claws into the hiso with gobs of money then... well most can figure that outcome for themselves.

No they were fired because they were Obama hold overs and after 3+ years there was no faith in their political leanings or the job they were supposed to be doing. He should have fired them a couple of years ago IMO just as Obama fired almost two hundred generals in the armed services for not backing his Libyan and Syrian plans .

Since Phuket is one of the places hardest hit with COVID-19 I would be more concerned with the 14,000 spreading the virus back to their home provinces.

It is heart warming to see the Muslims and other control freaks have finally gotten the upper hand and are able to stop people from drinking. Think of all the Livers they will save (sarc)

They could have mandated social distancing Ie no more than one person in a cart and no sitting around in groups. One blanket statement for a whole country is easy for TPTB it takes little thought. But the reality is one glove does not fit all.
The word I am getting is 1, May.. Nothing official just a rumor.

I am glad at least someone knows what a corrupt tea money taking organization WHO really is. Not necessarily all the people just the leadership that is in the pocket of the CCP. Maybe the Thais are paying attention to what the mainland Chinese are doing to the Africans in country. Removing them from hotels even if they are married to a local and giving them no option but to live on the streets or get out of the country. Not just Africans but all foreigners, even if you have lived there for 15 years are slowly being driven out. Stories coming out of mainland China are "not nice".. Plenty of videos and stories to back that up.
The 7 hydro dams the Chinese have built have all but dried up the Mekong which basically affects 60 million people down stream; not to mention enhancing the drought in much of S.E. Asia.
So if I were the Thais or anyone else outside of China I would do everything possible to distance myself from the CCP.

I assume many on this site have heard about the treatment of blacks in China . Well it would appear once again the Chinese PR people screwed up.
With the advent of COVID-19 the opposition in many countries will hopefully rise up and say "No buying our governments by China" and everyone in country found to be on the Chinese payroll/tea money will be outed.

The PLA has a whole bunch of propagandist monitoring social media. Any disparaging word about China is met with a gang of operatives rebutting the accusers with the Communist Chinese cadre of "Hey we are right you are wrong" narrative.
China has not been forth coming about the virus or anything else that might cast a shadow of doubt upon their party line.
Countries (some) are finally wising up and requesting and directing companies to get out of the Chinese manufacturing scam simply for national security. Having all your medicines manufactured in China (as an example) and destroying your home based manufacturing never was and never will be a good idea. Self sufficiency for people and countries is the way to go except for the NWO open border crowd; which IMO COVID-19 is slowly pushing a dagger into their plans.

Let Us Know What Courses Are Still Open During Covid
in Golf in Thailand

Udon golf courses such as Srithani, Royal Creek, Wing 23, and the Army course are all open. They have put a plastic divide between the driver and passenger on the golf carts so most customers do not wear a mask except at the club house. Victory Park @ Nong Khai the caddies ride on the back of the cart and wear a mask as all caddies do at the above mentioned courses.. Hot and humid dirty reused mask I keep waiting on a bacterial pneumonia outbreak among the caddies... which will probably be blamed on COVID and not the dirty mask.
