There was no NATO promise not to expand eastwards.
Perhaps it was a gentleman's agreement between Gorbachev and Reagan ???

It seems there is always enough money for war..but never enough for peace.

The headline does say "suspected" but I would not be surprised if the Russians are jamming or interfering with GPS signals as part of their war effort...I remember during the Gulf wars that the Americans reduced the accuracy of their civilian GPS signals in the area of conflict. Naturally Uncle Sam kept his less than 1 meter accurate signal to help bomb the Iraq's to oblivion.

A patriotic win would see that money being spent on improving Americans life's not on proxy wars in foreign countries.

Yes it is at least partly Europe/US /NATO's fault they promised after the fall of the Berlin wall not to expand NATO further east towards the Russian border.
They incited/encouraged the 2014 Maidan coup that ultimately lead up to the war ongoing today.

It's highly unlikely - meaning virtually impossible - for a phone to get "hacked" simply by taking a phone call.
Don't even need to answer the call just know the number

Last incident was a pick-up aggressively and dangerously driving on my back wheel while I am riding my big bike, then aggressively trying to follow me when I overtook other traffic to try to get away from them.
Maybe the truck driver thought you wanted to race....where you perhaps in the right hand lane (fast lane) they (idiots) tend not to like bikes being in "their" fast lane.

I think if push came to shove I'd prefer plant based over bug based..but ultimately prefer "real meat" from an animal.

You could open the power bank and sever the data lines on the USB connection
or fit a switch to one line for best of both worlds.

Any recommendations or tips?
Yes watch out for ants nesting in the electronic switches, for some reason they are atracted to electronic/magnetic fields causing havoc to many appliances...I've found the naptha balls sold in small packets at Mr D.I.Y and some 20 baht shops strategically placed
deters the little buggers for a while but needs topping up as they evaporate over time.
You can getan RO machine with 3 stage pre filter and filtered water holding tank for a few thousand baht on lazada...on first use you need to discard the first 5 or more tanks of water due to carbon filter leaching and a plastic/rubber taste from the holding tank.

The biggest influence on the world's stage that needs countering is that of the US military complex/CIA medling and interfering at every opportunity, close to 800 military bases around the world but no money to secure the southern border , end homelessness and poverty or provide everyone with healthcare.
