Does anyone know where I can get tickets for this? I am not in Thailand at the moment but have seen this: Official Ticket | ฟุตบอลโลก 2026 รอบคัดเลือก โซนเอเชีย รอบสอง (2 Matches Pass) (thaiticketmajor.com) But it is for 2 matches. I only want 1.

Just to keep you notified. My ticket was £897.79 and with my air miles it cost me £715.79, a saving of £182, so worth doing.

Thanks for all your help. I have figured it out now and pieced it altogether. I don't have enough for a free flight or an upgrade - I just have enough for a reduction in my flight (miles plus cash) or a few hours in a lounge before the flight. We got there in the end! Thanks to everyone who has managed to help me.

So, the £409 fare was just for taxes and fares and I will be charged more when I book? I still can't figure it out as I only have 40000 miles, why does it state 85000? Am I purchasing the extra miles as well? It would be really helpful if Thai Airways told me the total cost of what I will pay before agreeing to it al. I have spent about 2 days trying to figure it all out but it does look like my only real option is to pay cash and miles, unless I just wanted to retain the miles for a possible upgrade (which I don't). I would rather get rid of them ASAP.

This is what I get when I select Air Awards on the ROP portal. Does this mean I will pay £409.79 for the flights? I don't want to confirm it as it looks like it is a final request. Also, why does it state 85000 miles as I only have 40000. When I select the same flights and use miles plus cash option it comes to approx £900 and then using all my miles it gets reduced to about £700. Can anyone help?

what is the difference between Thai Air Awards and Cash plus miles? It looks like Cash plus miles is the way to go for me as I don't have enough for an upgrade or any reward tickets?

Can you use your air miles to get free tickets if you book at the right time or is it just to get a reduction on the price of the tickets that you buy? For 40000 miles I expected a little more than saving £200 on a flight. I don't qualify for an upgrade on the UK to Bangkok flight and I don't want to spend it on hotels or anything else. I do find the ROP website a mess to navigate around. For 40000 miles does a saving of approximately £200 seem about right?

I logged on at Orchid Plus and I still can't figure it out! I think you must use them right at the end of the booking process as you go to pay for the flight: Promotion | Fly THAI with Cash + Miles (thaiairways.com) Rather than logon to the portal and click on 'Air Awards' and book the flight that way? For 40000 miles it looks like I save approximately £200 on a return ticket from London to Bangkok. Does that seem right?

I checked the website and it isn't clear to me how it all works, LOL. Does anyone do this regularly?

How do you actually use these air miles? I have got 40000 now because of Covid etc. Do you book the flight as normal and then try to spend them at the end whilst paying for the flight (along with cash) or do you have to login to Orchid Plus and do it through the portal?

Hi. English national, British passport. I am currently in Thailand on a 60 day tourist evisa. I plan to leave in January and then come back to Thailand in March. I plan to apply for another 60 day tourist evisa for my March trip. Is there any issues with me doing this? Is it theoretically possible to get a new visa every time I travel?

I just checked my Royal Orchard plus account and to my surprise I had quite a few air miles that I never bothered to check. Has anyone used them before? It looks like you have to login to your account and then book the flight that way, is that correct? I reckon I could save half if I use my air miles next time.

Thanks Dr Jack. I think I will get the visa beforehand as it seems simpler than having to go to the immigration office and ask for an extension. Thanks for your advice though.

Can you apply for a multiple entry tourist visa online? It doesn't look like it. I guess the tourist visa in advance is the best option.

It looks like the tourist visa in advance is the best option for me then. I guess I should apply in about October time just in case there are issues. How long do I have to enter Thailand before the visa expires? Does it work out easier than having a multiple entry visa as I will be going to Thailand again in March 2024.

I am coming to Thailand for 58 days from November 17 2023 to Jan 14 2024. I know I have to get a visa for that length of stay but when should I apply for the visa? Should I get a double entry visa as I am thinking of going back to Thailand the end of March 2024, for another 50 odd days? Is it an evisa now? I live in London so not far from the embassy.

It isn't a private school either

They don't accept selfies. I find it a bit of an overkill, that I need to get a passport photo taken and sent in the post.

My wife has asked me to send her a passport photo of myself as the school have asked her for it. Has anyone ever been asked for this? I live in the UK so it is a bit of a fuss. She says it is for security reasons.

My understanding is that as I am from the UK I can now stay for 45 days without a visa up until 31 March 2023. So, if I was to get there on 17th March, I would get 45 days, so I could stay until 30th April 2023? Is this correct? What do you think the chances of this new agreement being removed?

Hi. My daughter is 4 and attending a local kindergarten. It isn't a private international school. I have just been told it is 15400b school fees for the second term. It isn't a lot of money but seems strange to be asked for this as I thought it was free. Is this a normal charge?

Does anyone know the typical term dates for Thai kindergartens (not international schools)? My daughter is 4 and attends one in Bangkok. My understanding is that it is early May to late September. Then mid October to early March. Is that about right? Trying to get the exact dates off my wife has been a bit tricky!
