  1. Source: https://bangkokherald.com/thailand/thailand-visa-amnesty-gets-last-minute-extension-to-oct-31-sources/ I loaded the https://www.immigration.go.th/ website about 7 pm on Saturday and there was nothing there about this new extension and also now it is not yet there. Let's look out for it starting Monday morning. As with some other things, some immigration officials may have to be shown it on their own website to believe that it is true when the need arises to make use of this automatic extension.
  2. You answered a question addressed to NCC1701A. Are you and he the same person?
  3. Bumping it following latest update, so people won't think the topic is outdated.
  4. There are already several topics running about the proposed Special Tourist Visa (STV) where you can post your thoughts on the subject. If it is nuts you want to discuss, do so on the food forum.
  5. Silly troll topic with abuse being traded between two posters.
  6. Over 2,000 students at Swiss hotel school placed in quarantine All undergraduate students at the École hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL) - one of the most prestigious hospitality management schools in the world - have been placed in quarantine after several coronavirus outbreaks. 7. You cannot upload an attachment to your attachment folder, but what you attach to a post gets a link in the attachment folder.
  8. No political posts allowed in the Covid-19 forum and no trolling allowed anywhere on ThaiVisa.
  9. What does the number you give to your CV (curriculum vitae) have to do with it?
  10. It is important to note that these are not the actual requirements, just a draft of them, and the OP made this quite clear. If it is the intention to put the STV into effect on 1 October 2020 as I read somewhere, whatever government agencies and private organisations are in charge of this had better hurry.
  11. As the title of the infographic says, it is a draft and it is for this reason that it will change. Nothing to do with your deprecating comment about "all things Thai Government seems to do".
  12. Removed a post that violated forum rule 14 (copyright) and the replies to it.
  13. For your information and for writing your address on the extension application form, Bang Rak Yai is in Bang Bua Thong district in Nonthaburi province. Therefore, it is indeed the Nonthaburi immigration where you must submit your application.
  14. Europe’s New COVID-19 Travel Rules, Explained By Michelle Baran Sep 22, 2020 A confusing patchwork of intra-European travel restrictions has led the European Commission to propose a more coordinated approach. As residents of many countries (including the United States) remain banned from traveling to much of Europe, travel within Europe has not proven to be much easier in many instances. Travelers coming from the United Kingdom can enter France without restrictions, but those going in the opposite direction have to quarantine for 14 days. Those heading to Germany from regions within certain European countries must quarantine until they provide negative COVID-19 test results. Travelers to Italy coming from EU countries must fill out a health form, unless they’re coming from Croatia, Greece, Malta, or Spain (then they must provide proof of a negative test). It goes on and on. The patchwork of rules and regulations for travel within Europe is dizzying and has only become more so as European countries continue to relax and tighten their border controls on a country-by-country (and even sometimes province-by-province or regional) basis in response to surges and declines of coronavirus cases. 15. Bank interest rates are near zero. Hopefully, they don't go and gamble with the money in casinos or the stock market.
  16. Thank you for posting this information. I was confident that somebody would have it but, wow, you were super fast.
  17. A quick web search brought up this link with helpful information about a person's rights with regard to the cancellation of a flight of an EU airline departing from or arriving in an EU country.
  18. I am not sure how it is with flights from Thailand, but I believe an EU law or decree compels airlines to rebook you on a new flight with its own or with another airline for any cancelled flight terminating in an EU country. Perhaps somebody knowledgeable with this legislation will come and post a link to it.
  19. Even when you book a flight through a travel agent, is it not usually the airline that informs the traveller directly changes or cancellations of a flight?
  20. Take immediate action to block the card issuer's payment to Gotogate. The credit card company probably has on online form for this.
