Does anyone have a link to biochemical evidence of the isolation of COVID 19 ?
I've checked the usual scientific publications.....nothing.

Despite a highly successful vaccine roll out, Britons are not be allowed to travel overseas. The new excuse is "variants".
-
There is no intention of the WHO and those behind it to endorse international travel with or without a vaccine. What they are saying is masks and social distancing will still be required because vaccines do not provide immunity instead they ameliorate symptoms. Then there are the variants waiting on the sidelines to be introduced as and when required.
But for those who have high hopes for the "freedom" passport it's not all bad news. Boris has floated the idea that pubs might only allow those with a passport to enter.

Up to now it seems Thailand has followed the lead from the WHO, so it might be useful to get some perspective from its leader, Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus who said the following:
“We cannot go back to the way things were.
Throughout history, outbreaks and pandemics have changed economies and societies. This one will be no different, in particular the pandemic has given new impetus to the need to accelerate efforts to respond to climate change.
The pandemic has given us a glimpse of our world as it could be - cleaner skies and rivers.”
Or perhaps we should listen to Bill Gates, who has invested billions in the vaccine business and who at a TED talk said the following:
“The world today has 6.8 billion people, that’s headed up to about 9 billion. Now, if we do a really great job on new vaccines, health care and reproductive health services, we could lower that by perhaps 10 - 15 %.”
The Biden and Johnson administrations have indicated that travel restrictions, mask wearing and social distancing may well need to be kept in place, despite vaccination programs.
Perhaps their concerns are primarily on climate change and overpopulation too.
-
If the vaccine passport takes off, they will begin shrieking about another strain which won't be covered by the vaccine and so another vaccine will be required to be kept uptodate.
Soon after, another virus will pop up, it will be very dangerous and another vaccine will be required.
Gates has invested many billions in this project and for the WEF to suceed with it's "build back better", there cannot be a return to normal - that is out of the question.

Anyone with a blog, social media presence can have their 30 day visa instantly extended to 12 months. Investment for a business visa is very low and extremely flexible, a 12 months visa is hassle free.
This has attracted both serious players and beginners. Canngu is the place to be for young people. Restaurants, coffee shops, open air workstations with pools are all booming.

In SEA, super easy business visas are drawing young entrepreneurs to Canngu, Bali and it's absolutely booming.
Acapulco is doing very nicely, private jets and yachts competing for space. Even Cancun is muddling along ok. The country is open and your money goes a long way.
Thailand...not so much.

My friend traveled from UK to Cancun, Mexico a few days ago.
It all went smoothly, no certificates, no quarantine and they have moved into a lovely place for a very reasonable cost.
I understand they got a 180 day no hassle visa.

Having an overtly poltical player, who happens to be a psychiatrist make predictions concerning virology, microbiology and immunology is peculiar.

For wealthy and mobile international investors, Thailand is of declining interest.
This trajectory of this trend continues.

You arrive in Bali on a tourist visa - $25.00.
You then go to immigration and fill out a form in which you claim you are working online as a blogger or Youtuber etc.
You wait 15 mins. Bang your visa has been extended for 12 months.
You are now legal to work onlline in Indonesia.

Many thousand of medical doctors and scientists, including Noble prize winners, have signed the Great Barrington Declaration in which the overiding concern is that the lockdowns will cost more lives than the actual virus.
Even the WHO is now distancing itself from the lockdowns as the numbers are coming in that lockdowns are destroying the lives of many of the worlds poor. The poverty and resulting shortening of lives will probably mean that governement policies have caused the deaths of vastly more people than the virus.

There will be no interest from China, until the economy has collapsed completely. After all, business is business.
In the meantime, thousands of medical scientists including Noble prize winners have determined that lockdowns are useless and cost more lives than the virus.
Even the WHO is distancing itself fromn the lockdowns.

"Go where your treated best", is the general rule of thumb for tourists, retirees, investors and business people.
As promotions fail, numbers dissapoint and the economy continues to tank, with potential damage to the very fabric of society - it might be prudent to evaluate what is on offer in other destinations.

Cruel and unintelligent seem prerequisite components of policy.
Investors, retirees and business people all over the world are continually scanning and reporting on all countries and the enviroments they offer.
Thailand does itself no favors.

What happened to the Thai cure for COVID 19?

Thailand is in the thrall of China - if it it maintains this trajectory within ten years I doubt there will any Westerners here at all.

I'm not sure that it matters much - there's not much of a reputation left.

For people with existing connections to Thailand, there will be interest but generally of dimishing enthusiasm.
For people who have few or no connections, it's no longer on the radar.
It was the place to be 20 years ago.

Phuket foreigners told to be COVID ‘socially responsible’ or face expulsion

Based on numerous newsletters and forums which I follow, the interest in Thailand for high net worth individuals appears to be at an all time low.
Climate, rental costs and local culture fare well.
Visa regulations, luxury car/yacht ownership and business/investment prospects are considered by most to be hostile.
