  1. When Bitkub switched my trading off last year as a foreigner I moved my funds out. This month they offered via mobile app to accept new KYC docs and this was simply a photo of pp (which they had already) and a selfie in three directions! That was all, then wait for them two weeks to approve which they did - giving me 100THB trading fees credit. I still only have 2 baht in the account and it will probably stay that way.
  2. It's known as "availability bias" that you are allowing yourself to be consumed by.
  3. So why were you asking about an international account to start with? If you have a US address?
  4. Comments like this are as unhinged as the actions of the Swiss guy.
  5. Makes you wonder why the news reporter never thought about this either.
  6. That's what they do at our condo in Bangkok. Seems to work OK.
  7. Looking on the bright side, at least she missed the concert.
  8. You are asking us to remember a specific exchange rate to the nearest cent 26 years ago? I can remember it pegged at 23.0THB in 1983 if that helps.
  9. If your only home address is in Thailand the only option appears to be Wise rather than Revolut?
  10. Oh yes I did that also. Proof of ID and proof of address in Thailand. For latter they DHLd me a letter to sign and return so DHL proved my address! I think PP had to be notarised by Thai lawyer. This all happened about 4-5 years ago as part of new KYC document requirements.
  11. My KPlus app shows the MEA current bill at any time I use the app and I just pay it there. Simplicity itself.
