  1. From FB marketplace: 2012 Honda cbr250r ฿37,500 Driven 87,000 km Are there concerns about the age and mileage? Benefits are double combined ABS and a conversion of the handlebar to touring style
  2. GPX small motorcycles no ABS at all, newer Bajaj above 200 cc have ABS. I'm regularly going to SIA (Siam Inter Auction), as it is very near to my home. Motto is another one, but I have never tried it there. The motorcycles can be started but not driven. Here is some issue. Every Tom ,Dick and Harry starts the machine, revving up to the limit from a cold start. VERY bad for engine. And the staff there of course says nothing. So I tend to stay away from auctions now. Found a few good offers on FB marketplace that I am observing now. CF Moto NK250 and Bajaj 220
  3. Okay, I read that you are existing customer of Pacific Cross already, so this might not affect you. But they are very thorough and picky during initial screening of documents and previous treatments / underlying diseases. So much, that after two months of underwriting process I cancelled it and changed to another provider. My insurance broker warned me about that before and unless their client want (or have to) save premiums, they are no longer recommending Pacific Cross because of these issues.
  4. Eying a CF Moto 250 NK now. Pretty good price and conditions as new. Low Mileage. CF Moto builds KTM bikes in China in license along with the engines from KTM. 250 NK is basically a clone of the KTM Duke.
  5. Problem on online marketplaces (Kaidee and FB) is to find the CBR models with ABS. Need to click through almost every picture. Same with mileage. Not often in the description, duh. I'm also trying my luck with auction every Monday and Friday.
  6. Hey guy, looking for a small CC motorbike (preferably with ABS) for commuting and short weekend trips. Budget not over 30.000 THB. Eying Honda CBR150, CB300F or Kawasaki Z250 SL. Honda CBR150 are plenty available however not my first choice because only 150cc and would need to change handlebar to touring style. Therefore CB300F or Kawasaki Z250 SL. I found this one: https://www.kaidee.com/product-368039498 Other choice would be Bajaj 160 or GPX Razer 220 at much lower prices below 30k, around 10 to 15k THB. I'm wondering if those bikes last long and about the part situation. Also, of course they don't have ABS.
  7. I consider the villa buns as emergency, like you said they are just slightly above average or that crap from Farmhouse
  8. Not wondering since I have seen that you can buy airline tickets or do hotel bookings now on installment. This must be the paramount of credit giving to people who actually can't afford it
  9. One of my nearby Makro branches has it's own bakery and decent western bread, including burger buns. According to label not margarine and preservative, just butter, flour, yeast, milk and egg powder. Villa used to have brioche buns (frozen) but can't find them any longer. The burger buns at the bread section are okay, too.
  10. Where can I get tactical gear such as gas masks, vest and helmets? Just asking for a friend....
  11. Bacillus cereus potentially lethal but FDA and press are not allowed to show clear picture of the product with full label and visible brand name due to defamation laws. Unbelievable
  12. Kudos to the driver of the silver Toyota CHR that drives through the accident scenes as nothing would have happened. In other civilized countries that would mean a hefty fine, if not suspended jail and for sure not having your drivers license for a long time. But here, business as usual.... Edit: Thairath TV even managed to get the dashcam footage of the silver Toyota CHR https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=295661972939995&__ft__=AZWZA4ieXpIs2RTvpdg8NDvvFsM54lEYzpdIHQgP8gXIwZRy9O7co4MudB4_Ipf7pDROtnomQbTTlWWg3GIJNwANmH9JM16hmTArRgus_zd5sxbW-2zEDOY9NgSamPAaRxB09jVGuqxCP0tKCI8zzTEKhXBWJpGpS5SRTsgF72BA8sJcQ_7GbfnlFUHcG279PR50gnYrgBTdRzlQWiiz63sE_O_KoSMR3ZOGAWAZsw-UyUJn4XrWqxEajIlQaJp1fqw5UmtBOAdJnU5-CmlOlKK_62qTVgUJ9JVBtDGyi8iyCPb-1mcOtW-kJBjXO5IYqT8u9Iyv5FHzaX61Ch_JOGm9hE4_SqkHfn-qDq_IrPY36uJPcXrZxLDzTHa8fgclruY478Qvq_A7q1q9UQaKeKGqp1cXwFuOs5dTbS6GBiMhIlMA2wcqrkoULWjArntiH5KX-esjjhce93zCB6xDe6ULIf8IwJprl1b7hS9Dn6DyalScHjj1NRz5xQECg5DRcxTAyCkJttQVxo9zfgcCBHx7OQxVg8FJ9PhXKz7oZKVMRCkH1bcz74YflkROsSVxNP3JAW-xrxmRxQZcSywh2o3DyaNkVYoKtdRc93pjw5B4PZi-G3v6mWYulliAqT7Sf8klFEMBEbtb-4vfhPG09ieiMprN0sy9LVzXlXjEI75q6s8Tf2wRP-eaF9Fs3jaK6GWYgzSmueeUMaHQi_68BdFOxe5n_I-TafsCVZNrmU7cPE-xPJGTkOHyT9ZSVETstmHzfXEJgYVFTj607KDvV9TWZjm53fJebW4G6FKl_rVDWMw5l0nPpze_FuuuBUviU8TSL3nHJIrr7-dIMLHp5DrpLFLfcJW9CgR4Zz6EU9ISpndSNBIRxOqCWf6s9tW8EMHJ4KQZkJufgPY8KGb2Iqf_ZrX32-FT7QMTedNpogguw4uxARtNuCs1x-UCFmWqlrq7hUExfHmIhvmHw48v-MHrN-mZE6CiT-j6PFDeCxX2cpapHk1QrF4hZnwXbw0DF4k4fJDCXUcm6ld2LoK1TcYCgPEJB2jOAIcY7ddn_n5X0Q&ref=external
  13. From this picture it looks like a combination of factors has caused this accident. Maybe there were broken comb guards with some missing teeth that then caught a wheel of her luggage and jamming one moving metal step so wide off that her foot or leg was trapped in that gap.
  14. Korat, where. The city or province? That makes a huge difference
  15. Oh really, what do you want to do or talk with village guys? Daydrinking and talking about the upcoming lottery numbers? The place is a ghost town, because everyone who can, left to Bangkok or another city to work and have higher standard of living.
  16. Nope, some other foreigner from abroad is coming. The last guy from Canada lasted three weeks and I doubt the new one will be any different

    Seahorse Ferry

    Interesting, Bangkok from what port?
  18. Agree, I think Monthong is the current mainstream variety, also good for export
  19. Yeah, coming to Thailand for a price tag 2+ million baht

    Makro Pro

You would think every Makro store is almost the same since it's a chain store. Reality is far from that. It depends a lot on the store size, location and obviously the store manager how their range of products is and how well they are stocked. I have around three Makros around my home and avoid two like the plague.
  21. I am quite sure I've seen the land that the OP is looking for on DD Property. It's not farmland but rather some speculation from the owner or property agent to built something like a resort or whatever commercial there, hence the expensive price tag....
  22. I'd definitely would opt for the MG4. Not because I own one and I'm super happy with it. I've done extensive research before my decision, which was buy either Atto 3 or MG 4. My GF helped me with searching also Thai reviews and FB groups. Main issue about BYD is the lack of dealer network and situation with spare parts in the country. But to me the test drive really made a difference and the impetus to buy the MG4. So do the test drive and choose which car you like more.
  23. One hour drive to Suphanburi town. Hardly near...
