  1. Good morning

Do you know a store in Bangkok( or elsewhere ) or a website specializing in wooden boat models to build, with acrylic paints? everything imported from Europe is very expensive

    Thanks

  2. Not sure to understand ; which sim card ? I have Internet at home with my smartphone, but I don't buy a special sim card for Internet, I have a 50 bahts AIS card, which doesn't  connect to Internet when I am outside, it works only for telephone

  3. Excuse me for the double message, I thought that the first was not sent

We can speak with Google translate ? how to do it ? I know only how to write some text

    SayHi is really bad

  4. Hello,

last week I was at the bank and at one point the employee took her phone, said a few words in Thai and handed me the phone with the translation of what she said , written in good English

I did'nt  think to ask her which application she  used ; do you have any idea ? I know " SayHi", but I don't like it very much

    thanks

  6. Hello

I would like to find a statue of a xylophone player ( with the xylophone ), made in wood, not an antique, let's say a souvenir for tourists

Are there any and where ( noting in Lazada ) ? : maybe some museums sell  some for visitors ?

    thanks

What type of income was / is the question about?

in my case, pension for retirement

other question ;   my pension is too low to pay taxes in my country, so I don't pay anything ( but I do a statement ) , and I transfer about 500000 bahts a year ; it  means that I have to pay 50000 bahts taxes in Thailand because Thailand considers I have not paid taxes in my country ?

    Thanks

Sure it is legal but they could make your life hell so you would be begging to leave.

For this , I am sure that my in- law family will allow me; I think more of my daughter in law'son, who is now about 4 years old; in twenty years, if his mother dies, what will he do ? My house is very comfortable

  9. Hello

I am retired, married with a Thai woman and  I live in a house

I would like to have an usufruct , or something which allows me to live all my life in my house, even if my wife dies before me

Somebody in an other forum says that he has his name in his wife's chanot, and that it's enough

or is a  paper signed by my wife who says that I can stay all my life is enough ?

I trust my wife and my inlaw, but I don't know what will happen in the future , so I prefer to have a document

    Thank you

Lack of sodium is my guess. You lose a lot due to exercise or sweat.

It happened for me, walking like if I was drunk ; I avoided salt , and after I spent two nights in hospital with perfusion of salt in my blood

  11. Hello,

in an other forum, a member ( who left already , so he could'nt answered ) said that he bought a house in a lot and that in his yellow tabian book, it was written he is "owner"; is it possible, for instance if he has a permanent visa ?

because every body said he was a liar, he left the forum, but I think he was right

do you have an answer  ?  ( the guy was a long term expat , maried with a Thai woman and they have two children )

    thanks

@DrJack54   the retirement Visa needs to be renewed every 12 months, similar to a marriage visa.

@Aforek   I got my first retirement Visa last year and the irst 90-day report had to be done in person.

@KannikaP where you able to do the first 90 day report after the extension on line?  Not sure?

Yes, you are right, but my answer still stays right, first time you have to go to the I.O your self, but again for a new passport you have to go by yourself the first time

  13. Hello, I need to change my progressive glasses

I know already KT optic, very good but I think rather expensive with fashionable frames  ( I am not a fashionable guy )

and near my home, there is " Chockchai optical " which, from the pictures, seems less"bling bling "

do you know " Chockchai optical " ?  i shall go  for a try, and if I don't like, I come back to Kt OPTIC

what is your opinion ? thanks ( very few opticals here, it's not Pattaya, Chiang mai or Bangkok )
