Thai's have always been among the worst drivers in S.E.A and that is saying something! BUT if you are going to get on the road with them you have to keep your head on a swivel and always be alert! Wifes car got bumped from the rear by another female driver and she did a runner (as usual) but wife caught up with her at a red light, standard excuse, didn't see you. the runners insurance took care of it.

perhaps the Gov't could have this Insurance available for purchase by "tourist! this could be an extra layer of protection.
