  1. Only if it is taken when teeth are developing, hence not recommended for pregnant women and children
  2. Every country, regardless of the profession has good and bad/ moral and immoral members. My advise, if you reside long time in Thailand is to seek out a competent professional in Thailand. Medical/Dental tourism is OK when things go right but will cost more to remedy, (physically, mentally and financially) when they do not. If you work, receive income in a particular country support them; you can also go back/report if necessary when things appear to not work out.
  3. My two Treat people as you want to be treated A bad day fishing is better than a good day at work
  4. Panchana, (Plug) 0803715840. Has good English and is knowledgeable on materials, solar and electrical installation.
  5. My experience with NAB. My one time pin comes through my Telstra number, since they have that recorded as my Primary number. My Thai number is a secondary one. In theory if I ring and change the Primary to Secondary and reverse the order the night prior to leaving Au. I should be able to receive the PIN number. In practice it doesn’t work, or at least it did not work. Now I use 2 phones, one with my Au sim and the other with Thai sim with my Au number being the NAB primary number. It works for me that way. Good luck, frustrating I know; everyone in Thailand probably hears my melt-downs,55
  6. The Saturday morning market known as Thung Fah bot at San Patong has tomato seedlings as does the Sunday morning market at Wian Ning Long.
  7. My type of Rh A was described as “dry rot”. I got up to experimental drug stage of treatment, nothing worked, and the risks of the experimental meds outweighed the potential advantages. I had 2 choices as I saw it, lay in bed and be miserable with the pain or make myself walk through the pain barrier, (for me 1 3/4hrs), that set me up with minimal discomfort for a few days. Have being doing regular exercise now for 11 years and generally all OK. A move to Thailand from Tasmania probably also helped.
  8. If you want to witness the real Vegetarian Festival, visit Phuket. The dates are the same and many events to observe.. Well worth the effort.
  9. I just say: "doht quong Pom, mai men". (my fart not stink)
  10. The red hopping marsupial airline has not changed much over the years. They still have a don't care attitude (and their budget wing is worse); staffed by the same "bulky stewardess" that Rooster referred to, ( Aeroflot) no service, no smiles, hard to get service. Pre pandemic you were lucky to have young energetic staff in one out of five flights. Referring to cattle class here, Business much better but still not near their competition.
  11. Accept that the earlier above post is a bit off topic but potentially useful. The link is https://www.covid-19sa.gov.au/travel/international-travel.
  12. Yes and No for returning citizens depending on which state that you are returning to. Today I received an email from the Premier’s office in SA stating that for international arrivals, they must be fully vaccinated and must do 7 days quarantine. This can be done at a suitable premises if no other people are there; ie; your own home. The government will decide if your nominated place is suitable or not and if not you will have to pay for 7 day quarantine at a nominated facility. Additionally, the writer said to check the website.
