  1. . I apologise, forgetting that many AN members do not have English as their first language. Nay is an old-fashioned, literary or diialect word for 'no'. Neigh is a sound uttered by a horse In the English Parliament, when the result of a vote is announced it is usually - for an in favour result - to announce "The Ayes have it" and for a not in favour result to announce "The Nays have it"
  2. I think the report AI should be programmed to autocorrect the word 'brake' to 'brain'
  3. The UK Metro report states that the little girl grabbed a bar on the bottom of one of the rising cars, clung on but fell from near the top landing on the canopy of a lower car. This is probably why the parents did not file a complaint since they failed to control the child. However, the ferris wheel operators are at fault for not having a safety barrier in place at ground level to prevent no-riders from contating the moving assemblies.
  4. I mailed docs from UK on 08 April 24 (tracked) delivered to Rachaburi today 19 April 24 The tracking record indicates package left uk on 10 April 24 recieved at Laksi (Bangok International Mail sorting office) on 17 April 24. Begging the question, where was it in transit for 7 days? 🙄

  9. He certainly has the PM's tie strengthened. Nice knot. Now...what about the socks....?
  10. Again a disconnect between the headline and the report. The headline implies an increase in tax. The report is that the Revenue Department is increasing its target for tax collection.
  11. Today, the suspect's face is pixellated yet the handcuffs are not. Both index fingers extended...Score... 2 points.

  16. Who is the person seen in the second image with eyes in the back of their head? It doesn't look like a policewoman.
  17. Considering the number of locals who carry the nasal inhaler (Poy Sian) on their persons, some with one stuffed into a nostril, I should have thought they would be able to tolerate infrequent doses of ammonia gas.
  18. Thanks, it's cunningly hidden. I do, in fact, have defective eyesight especially viewing PC monitors. I should not be suprised if the image was pixellated to cover up the shameful condition of the interior!
  19. It's difficult to identify much at all in that vehicle interior. Is it a mobile gynaecology unit? Where is the oxygen bottle? I had read the Siam Rath linked report (Google translation) but no mention of a rescue vehicle only that a rescue team attended.
  20. Is the 'tunnel' aquarium freshwater or marine? Are life preservers provided to visitors?
