Does Thailand genuinely welcome Farang?
rughead replied to Cupcake936's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
yes i completed my 0/A extension 3 weeks ago, this year immigration required a different bank statement for my 800000 baht, had to be from head office in Bangkok , and on return one week later with my new statement, was asked for the first time to draw a map where I lived .Re the past article about the health insurance, initially the receiving officer in my immigration office , after checking my documentation , told me i didin,t require those papers, later changing his mind when my interviewing officer asked, and was subsequently given the papers. Goal posts seem to be changing all the time. -
just a question for the seasoned golfers. my plan is to update my Mizuno iorns , presently JPX 850, but am concerned about fakes here in Thailand. Am unable to purchase in my home country due to delays per covid 19 , and here in my home province the proshop does not sell , or have access to Mizuno . Does anyone know of a reputable retailer in Bangkok . thanks

i think all retirees, O visa , marriage visa , etc etc , should have adequate medical insurance cover , too long the O-A visa has been propping up retirees who think everyone owes them a living . They expect the thai government system for free.
