Are there actually any honest Africans in Thailand ? Never a day seemed to go buy without an African con artists story on TV.
Maybe they should start asking all Africans from such countries to post a 1 million baht deposit first when applying for a visa.
You poor, insecure little man...

Lazada, etc do not deduct withholding tax from your sales.
They charge VAT on the fees they charge you, and that is shown on their monthly tax invoice.
If your total annual sales are over 1.8 million baht, you are supposed to register for VAT.
Once you register for VAT, you MUST do monthly returns. The penalties for non- or late submission can be onerous.
One way that the RD knows your sales figures is the mandatory reporting of the number and size of deposits to individual accounts by banks. They must also report agglomerated data, for example, on multiple accounts in the same name/ID number. Different accounts in the same name/ID number across multiple banks are agglomerated by the RD themselves.
I didn't know that Lazada, etc were subject to mandatory sales reporting to the RD. I will check on this with my RD source, perhaps tonight before we turn the light off...

you are right, but it doesnt necessarly have to be football
and speaking thai isnt strictly necessary either for a large percentage,
so long as you participate in some kind of group and have a common language i.e english
Yep, sure.

I agree 100% and in my case i wd only change football team with rockn’roll band (though i’m not too bad on the pitch)
555 Totally agree! I actually came to know these mates through music, then football followed.
With any social group, you need an "in", a route in.
There are many available: the two mentioned here, football and music, then use your imagination...!
Like I say, real friends.
No, I know you won't believe me, but that's your problem...

You're all crazy.
All you have to do is speak the language, be a nice person, and join a football team.
I've got lots of local friends.
Really.

A rise in temp often means a change of lifestyle, in winter people meet/congregate indoors in close quarters, dinning, sports, shopping etc. In summer people may tend to be outside more and separated more, beach swimming, golf, outdoor dinning, outdoor markets etc. The difference between an indoor party or an outdoor bbq, swimming etc,
If temperature is a major factor, it will be negated inside a shopping mall or office block that is heated or cooled to the same temp all year round.
You certainly make sense, Peter.

Not sure why you would say that. There's a reason franchises are flourishing all over the world. It's because the model works.
Mmmm, google "RFG", and Australian franchisor, and see what you come up with...

A restaurant can employ you as a specialist chef and get you a work permit etc but unless you are actually a specialist chef they will more than likely employ a Thai chef for 300 baht a day. the restaurant would need to say a Thai cant do the job.
Not sure I'd want to eat in a restaurant that pays their chef 300 baht a day!

You don't need to form a company. You can just register the business at the local administrative organisation.

My current cheap Thai house up north you enter the bedroom, theres 3 different light switches, all not wired right, and the on suite bathroom switch is the wrong side of the bathroom door.. Its these kind of things that are like a daily reminder that your living surrounded by people who cant see the most simplistic problems.
Not quite right. It's not that other people can't see these problems, it's that these issues are not problematic for normal, well adjusted people.
They are only problematic to anal retentives such as your good self...
