  1. “It is not a problem of PM 2.5 dust at all, but a natural phenomenon in the summer which is about to change into the rainy season."

PM 2.5 is not a problem for those that don't breathe often. Oh, and don't worry because in a few months it will all blow off somewhere else. Meanwhile it's perfectly fine to go outside and bike a few km or maybe run a marathon.

OK folks, there's nothing to see here - keep moving along...

The Royal Thai Police today, November 30th, announced a 10,000-baht reward for the public who captured traffic violators and reported to relevant officials during the New Year’s “7 Dangerous Days” holiday period.

Why not give 10K baht to the police so they will do their job. If the police knew they would get 10K for actually practicing law enforcement, traffic violations would be dramatically reduced.

Offering 10K to the general public is basically outsourcing law enforcement and encouraging anyone with a cell phone to rat on their fellow citizens.

It also sounds like another devious plan by the RTP to avoid doing police work.

Credit rating agency Moody’s has maintained Thailand’s credit rating at Baa1 with a stable outlook, in its annual credit analysis published yesterday, saying the government’s robust financial foundation allows the country to handle economic challenges.

Moody's AAA ratings of mortgage backed securities and collateralized debt obligations led to the financial collapse of 2008. Does anyone really think that Moody's rating is worth anything these days?

The Rural Doctors Society is demanding that the government, and the Centre for COVID-19 Situation Administration (CCSA), tell the truth about the availability of COVID-19 vaccines

Truth is about as available as the promised vaccines. Telling the truth in Thai society would result in losing face which isn't culturally viable so I wish the Rural Doctors chok dee.

I thought we now had a Czar of COVID 19 so why are we getting posts from all and sundry saying one thing one day then changing it the next. Only the Czar should be posting information so we know it is up to date and truthful. Well maybe maybe not

I think you are quite correct. Misinformation, lies, and cover ups should only come from one source - the master of BS.

Thailand is aiming to administer one shot of a coronavirus vaccine to 70% of its population by September, its health minister said on Wednesday

September? Of what year? Anutin is doing another reach around in his quest to keep his job but clearly this is another load of meadow muffins from the usual sources.

My wife thinks its revolting and is complaining a lot.

The problem is not your wife's - its yours! So be aware of the choices you have:

    1) Learn proper hygiene. A bath and some roll-on may save your marriage but I suspect there are other issues you need to resolve as well.

    2) Live alone.

    3) Find a wife who will tolerate horrific odors.

    Respectfully, Dear Abby

The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) is aiming to inoculate at least 500,000 people by the end of May, and as many as a million a month from June, said Bangkok Governor Aswin Kwanmuang today (Sunday).

A good start if the plan goes as stated. However with a population of approximately 70 million and two vax per person, all persons in Thailand will receive vaccinations by August of 2032. Hopefully there is a plan to accelerate the vaccination rate?

Police, together with Kusoldharm rescue workers, went to the scene to find a heavily damaged white Toyota pickup truck laying on its side on the central reservation area after having crashed into a tree.

According to the royal ministry of transportation, roadside trees are now on the endangered species list.

Going forward, and in its bid to recover post COVID-19, Thailand’s tourism industry will focus  on four key points: Safety, cleanliness, sustainability and not taking advantage of tourists.

In other words, the polar opposite of how it has always been. Will another plea to the minions of Thai tourism be heard? Hmmmm...kinda doubt it.
