SplitInfinitive replied to SplitInfinitive's topic in Plants, Pets & Vets in Thailand
That's it, thanks a lot. I used the Firefox translate web page addon to translate it. -

Every year I try to buy a gift card for a young niece in Australia, usually Coles-Myer, fill in the pages of paperwork then get knocked back. This year it would not even open the payment page. I end up sending money by Western Union which is a bit impersonal. Anyone here had a similar problem and fixed it?

Many thanks.

Does anyone know if this is available in Thailand, if it be must be prescribed by a doctor and the cost?

Thanks to all, I have a check up booked at my private hospital next week, I'll make an appointment to see an ophthalmologist then.

I'm in my mid 70s and I've worn glasses for reading for about 30 years and for TV/driving for about 10. My sight has been the same since I got the driving glasses but I've had issues this year, I did an online test ad it showed that one eye has become considerably worse than the other. I'm pretty sure that I haven't had a stroke, I get regular checkups for other health issues. Would an optician be able to pick up a health issue or just give me a new prescription for glasses?

I want some reasonable gaming chops, nothing too dramatic with an SSD drive plus a decent size HDD for internal storage. I have a price in mind as well but I need to discuss that with the shop.

This is certainly the type of place that I'm looking for but I really want it to be within easy reach in case something goes wrong, which with me it inevitably will.

Thanks for the replies, I rang the number the other day and it connected immediately. He then rang me back so all seems to be OK. -
Too far away.

I need to find someone to build me a PC to my personal specs.

Thanks, I've been playing the AOE games since they came out, not a big fan of 3 though. I was hoping for a similar game to AOK with new Civs and Campaigns. I'll take a look at Game Pass.

Has anyone bought this game yet? Comments or personal reviews? https://www.pcgamesn.com/age-of-empires-4/age-of-empires-4-release-date-trailer-gameplay-nations

There's a bakery/deli opened behind the WangCome Hotel. The guy (French) is making his own cheeses and smoked sausage. Definitely worth a taste.

I recently changed phones and now cannot access one particular mobile number in Australia. I've deleted the number and put it back into the phone without success. I know it's still in use and I would not be blocked. Any suggestions? -
The 11 does not show battery usage as a % on the home screen, only as a bar. Not as far as i can work out anyway. % is shown by swiping down diagonally from the top RH corner.

Thanks to all respondents here. I know about the battery widget and the battery settings, it showed 1% on both the graph and the widget for quite a long time. This is the graph from last night, I've used it for reading and other stuff for about another 4 hours and it continued on at 1% until it just shut down now. I'll charge for about 3-4 hours as advised by woody. Thanks again. It's an interesting phenomenon.

I recently bought a second hand iPhone 11, the battery health was poor so I got a guy with a stall at the local mall to replace it. I saw it was running down to about 10% in a couple of hours so decided to cut my losses and a find a genuine Apple dealer for another battery. A friend suggested I run the battery flat to see if it was giving a true reading, it ran down to 1% in about 3 hours and has been sitting there for about another 3 hours. It's been active because I use the phone for reading. So the battery's working, I'm just never going to know when it needs charging until it turns itself off. Any suggestions?

I've jumped through all the vax hoops and printed off my certificate today to see my name is spelled wrong and I'm now of a similar sounding nationality to my correct one. I think this will work for local travel etc, it's similar enough to the correct data for a cursory glance but may cause problems should I decide to travel overseas. Any suggestions where I can get it corrected?

I need a new PC build to my desired specs, no one at the shops I've approached is interested. I could order it online but want a local if I need service.
